ok if u put anything more then 500 wats into a newer car it will raddle like shit, in my civic i have locktighted every bolt in the trunk and tightened them down alot and sprayer rubberised undercoating in the whole trunk and thats better then dynamat. i have over 5000 watts in my car and u can hear the rattle from far away theres nothing i can do about it exept make it so the trunk it the box and seal the trunk lid so it dont open i just like knowing i have the loudest setup in my town

i hate rattle myself, and i dont think the amount of nut and bolts you loose makes you any cooler. the best thing that you can do is get the most pound without the rattle, thats what sounds the best. with bass, it aint about loudness, its about quality. and the quality is destroyed with your rattling car

Dude, you suck at sound proofing if you cant get rid of rattle at any power level.

If you are real broke you can just weatherstrip every surface that touches something else and isnt firmly attached. If you do it right you mat everything and get some extra beefy gaskets that are like 10 times stiffer than the stock trunk lid seal. THEN you stuff rubber mat under the license plate. And Dynamat original is just tar based crap that melts in the sun, Extreme is better but not the best. Search google.
