PERFECT! I have to go to the store with my mom to take my camera back and stuff so maybe I can convince her to take me to a health food store! haha, is there anything else I can use besides a grader? (hahah sorry if I spelt that wrong, just woke up!) Subscribe! :)
@84juicyjuice Hey thanks for watching :) For the beeswax, sometimes it comes in pellet form, but sometimes it's more expensive. But you can chop it with a knife into whatever sizes if you want. The benefit is that smaller pieces melt quicker. So long as you use the right method, you're fine! :) Have fun
Must you useshea butter? It makes it softer and I like my lip blms fairly firm until it's on my lips. Is there another butter that would give me the same outcome as the shea butter but firmer? Also, peppermint actually dries the lips, I reccomend vanilla and look around at a cake store for other flavours.
PLUS, to colour, shop around online for pigments, why pigment? It's going to give a nicer color and usly a stronger color. They're usually quite cheap, and if you have a good art store, go there

@rustlecompton I know at first when my mom would see me making the lip balm with Vaseline she would be like that's dirty I would never use that now she really wants one ! And the process is very clean and non-messy haaah well thanks anyway ! ;D
@soccerNySsA Hey and thanks for watching! Yes I make all my lipgloss now, and giving some for Christmas gifts too! They make for good long lasting presents! Happy Holidays!
for anyone who is looking for these things like i was u can find all this at hobby lobby it cost like $30-35 including some jars so please try hobby lobby !!!
@livelovescrap123 Hey thanks for watching. You can buy things like shea butter and beeswax and essential oils at most health food stores, or you can also find tons of resources online. At first I couldn't find blocks of beeswax, so I just used a pure beeswax candle and grated it on my cheese grater, it sounds weird but it worked. Hope you get to try the recipe, I'm just about ready to make another batch for some Christmas gifts.
No it's called Shea Butter, it's from the Karite Nut tree in Africa, the nut itself when crushed yeilds this vegetable oil, and it can be used in a lot of cosmetic applications, and is very good for the skin. You should try it out! :)
helpful hint: i think... my sisters and i melt chocolate in a metal bowl, with the bottom that has the chocolate in it touching the hot water, so you could try it..... i guess... at your own risk...
Oh well we use iMovie, we just edit the first part and export, call it part one and then export the other half, and call it part two. it usually works if you select only the parts that you want to export.
Other than that if you are using another type of editor, type your question into google, and a ton of blogs and comments will pop up answering your question! Best of luck to you, keep trying!!!
HHHHeeyyyyy, wut video editor do you use????? i cant find any tht work, so i have to make videos seperate like: prt 1, prt2, etc. HELP, me, plzzzzzzzzzz..
Hey, the containers I got from this place in Toronto called Active Surplu, they have all sorts of little containers. I would also check craft shops, containers for beads, or even old lip gloss containers that you might have leftover. It's always good to reuse things. basically anything you can fit your finger in will work, but it should be plastic metal or glass.s
You can buy Shea butter at most health food stores, just make sure that it is 100% shea butter, you could also use cocoa butter too. The texture is kind of hard and oily, but when it warms up it is the type of moisturizer for your skin. If you can't find at health food stores, you can always order them online, just make sure it's from a good source. Thanks for watching and have fun making it!
It's actually just plain old beeswax. :) you could make candles out of it too, but it's also great for some cosmetics! Just make sure that it is pure beeswax.
You know what I've never used any pigment in my gloss, but if you find any cool natural resources you could use please share, that would make another cool video too! Let me know :)
oh ya those would work perfect. you could even just use a big block it would just take longer to melt. where did you find little pellets, i must know it would be so much easier!!! thanks for watching let me know how it turns out! :)
