Actually, the original singers were the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (1994) although it wasn't released as a single. It's been redone by Melodie Crittenden (1998) for the Dawson's Creek soundtrack, where it was first released as a single, and Geoff Moore (1999).

In this show, Bo had just been off three weeks from his intestinal surgery and missed the rest of the tour prior to this one. He was also healing from a broken foot he got during the show about a month before his emergency surgery. He wanted to show up on this last AI tour show because it was a Katrina benefit show.
