Again amazing thought provoking lyrics that push the envelope .We do not only want to entertain you we have a little phylosophy lesson disguised as pop music to teach you. It's super dark and depressing, particularly in the tone of the songs, but the lyrics and such aren't super uber sad or anything. For me Joy Division is a 'tip of the iceberg' band. I'm not a huge fan; I like a few songs, but you can tell there's a ton of shit going on underneath it all.
