lol, I watched this video when you firt posted it, I thought it was fake or something. now I have one and a nova rossi 57 and I realize it was not fake :)
I used to have a Hyper .50 on my 7pounder Hangar 9 F-22... it wasen't a PTS anymore... It was a 120mph+ pylon racer >.> hahahahaa can't wait to tray the .55 HZ XD
@Dylatch there are more factors: availability of negative pitch, the incredible power to weight ratio, material resistance and of course human limitations :) Plus, it's easier to do this in third person view with a remote than when sitting in a choppa.
Alright, negative pitch, I have some research to do then. I was more thinking of a kind of drone, for the pilot's sake, even if a hamster inside could be an interesting idea.
Lol np. I fly the big ones, so I should know. Also, the hamster would at least faint (and maybe puke a bit). The models can have positive AND negative blade pitch for the main rotor. That's the primary enabler for all the stunts you see.
@Dylatch possibly if you scaled up directly, like the body of the heli being one massive engine, with no passengers :P because real heli power to weight ratios have nothing on this
@rcmcam No Bert is just a realy fast flyer. You should go to Matt's helifoolz channel and look at the N5 testing vid. That's fast. I prefer the way Bert flys though. Smackdown with some loops here and there.
Hey Bert. Awsome flying!!! I saw you demo the 450 pro as well. Awsome! How do you get 14* of blade pitch with that much cyclic response? My swahplate bottoms out on the washout alignment pins. Or does your bird bind at full collective pitch? I noticed your running stock blades and paddles that come with the super pro. Thanks.
Hey Marc, my heli binds pretty bad at extremes, I just don't go there, but only for acceleration during the flight. Also, the NSP and LE 600s have shorter head pins, so it is not as bad as with the original 600 nitro pros.
Thanks for the reply Bert. I would like to see you fly an ESP and demo the Thunder Power 45c 5000 lipo. If the people thought this flight looked like it was playing 1.5 imagine what they would say with an electric! Awesome job. Look forward to your future demos!
sorry guys, don't want to be the most negative man in the world, but I think this video is not playing at the normal speed... it's playing faster then normal...
lol maybe if you were the pilot than i will 100% sure that the videos are played on 1.5 speed, but since Bert was piloting i know it's a normal speed videos. just for your reverence, watch other Bert flying videos....
Running Spektrum 7100R receiver with built in regulator and governor, so straight 8.4 volt pack. Beep is my timer, we wanted to keep the video around 4 minutes of flying or so, otherwise it gets boring.
Bert, that is some awesome flying and that new 55 seems to take some real beating. Did you say in the video that you were running 14.5 collective and 11.5 cyclic or was it 7.5 cyclic??!
Bert, you keep me motivated everytime I see you fly. I just did my first real life piro-flips ever last night with my trusty T-REX 450 SE V2. I'm really wanting to get into nitro more and more each day. You don't know how much your videos and comments help me out.
Thanks for posting always and being actively involved with your fans!

pointnozzleaway 2 years ago
how do you can you do tic tocs so quickly, when i do it on sim my heli is going down!
BadBramiBoy 2 years ago
That would be dealing with the power of the motor. With a weak motor, the rapid set of pitch changes is bogging down the motor.
i8acid2days 2 years ago
how much the head speed? is it 2100 or 2200 rpm?
it looks really pack full of punch besides the .55 engine.... really nice flying Bert

Great flying Bert... Does that thing even bog at all? I mean how would it compare to the redline or even th existing OS .50H?
HeMzY01 2 years ago
It does bog with the amount of pitch I am running if I try hard. More power than Redline or OS 50 by far for sure.
mcobert 2 years ago
what kind of on /off setup you have now? is it not a 2in1 ?, also what is the beep coming from coming from at the first?
