  • lol, I watched this video when you firt posted it, I thought it was fake or something. now I have one and a nova rossi 57 and I realize it was not fake :)

  • bravo bravo bravo

  • Autorotation FTW!

  • Sick flying, I am thinking about getting a O.S. 55HZ-R with the DRS

  • i never thought helicopters were spazzy

  • kann mir bitte jemand die vergaser einstellungen von ihm sagen ??

    teillast, volllast und exzenter.

  • HI BERT FROM GREECE,HOW

ARE YOU.I HAVE THIS ENGINE(O.S 55HZ HYPER)AND I WONT TO HELP ME.HOW TEMPERATURE OFF WORK THIS ENGINE?

  • hallo bert

    really great flying

i think you hav3e an governor inside

what do you thing about the redline 53?

does it have more power then the os 50?

    thanks

  • just a question.... the video is accelerating ??? a litle bit, no ??? can't you publish it with normal ratio (it still be so impressive!)

  • İs it real ?? :D Ohh god...

  • either this man cant drive....or he's been doin dis for years...thats sum good drivin skills

  • osz w morde

  • What the hell nice flying skills

  • sick motor

  • rippin just got one of these, mad.

  • What kind of servos/gyro did you use on it ?

  • I used to have a Hyper .50 on my 7pounder Hangar 9 F-22... it wasen't a PTS anymore... It was a 120mph+ pylon racer >.> hahahahaa can't wait to tray the .55 HZ XD

  • woaw, just woaw =o

That's some nice piloting skills you have here, thx for sharing 5/5 :D

  • Wow, jamais je monte avec lui s'il pilote un hélico.

That's crazy, and still no crash, impressive... really.

  • how many choppers broken before this ?

  • I think this guy should never pilot a true helicopter !!

  • le truc de fou!!!

  • And, so, theorically, a real chopper could do such figures if its structure would allow it?

  • @Dylatch there are more factors: availability of negative pitch, the incredible power to weight ratio, material resistance and of course human limitations :) Plus, it's easier to do this in third person view with a remote than when sitting in a choppa.

  • Alright, negative pitch, I have some research to do then. I was more thinking of a kind of drone, for the pilot's sake, even if a hamster inside could be an interesting idea.

    thanks for having answered btw.

  • Lol np. I fly the big ones, so I should know. Also, the hamster would at least faint (and maybe puke a bit). The models can have positive AND negative blade pitch for the main rotor. That's the primary enabler for all the stunts you see.

  • @Dylatch possibly if you scaled up directly, like the body of the heli being one massive engine, with no passengers :P because real heli power to weight ratios have nothing on this

  • @danspratt2 Okay, "dont try this on a real aircraft", got it, b3nighted already convinced me not to do so :)

    But thanks for the info!

  • This is the Ninja-copter!! O_O

  • Best pilot i have ever seen!!!

    Nice video. Perfect flight!!!

    Congratulation

  • Wow is it in fast forward the video?

  • @rcmcam No Bert is just a realy fast flyer. You should go to Matt's helifoolz channel and look at the N5 testing vid. That's fast. I prefer the way Bert flys though. Smackdown with some loops here and there.

  • thats it! i'm ording my 55 right now lol..quality flying man!

  • The OS55 really suits your agressive flying style... magic stuff!!!

  • omg that´s awesome

i thougt every sec you make a crash :D

  • The landing was big pimpin

  • Hey Bert, was wondering what you thought of the os pipe for the 55 in comparison to the hatori. THANKS

    NICK

  • You would definatly need longer balls to dare fly a heli like that !

  • Great flying Bert, the 55 sounds all good

  • Hey Bert. Awsome flying!!! I saw you demo the 450 pro as well. Awsome! How do you get 14* of blade pitch with that much cyclic response? My swahplate bottoms out on the washout alignment pins. Or does your bird bind at full collective pitch? I noticed your running stock blades and paddles that come with the super pro. Thanks.

    Marc Ward

    CENCAL Helis

  • Hey Marc, my heli binds pretty bad at extremes, I just don't go there, but only for acceleration during the flight. Also, the NSP and LE 600s have shorter head pins, so it is not as bad as with the original 600 nitro pros.

  • Thanks for the reply Bert. I would like to see you fly an ESP and demo the Thunder Power 45c 5000 lipo. If the people thought this flight looked like it was playing 1.5 imagine what they would say with an electric! Awesome job. Look forward to your future demos!

    Marc Ward

    CENCAL Helis

  • sickest flying i have ever seen and have flown helis since the 90's. i want 2 have ur baby

  • sorry guys, don't want to be the most negative man in the world, but I think this video is not playing at the normal speed... it's playing faster then normal...

am I the only to think that?

  • It's not

There are enough people to confirm it

I mean I can't belive it either but its true

  • lol maybe if you were the pilot than i will 100% sure that the videos are played on 1.5 speed, but since Bert was piloting i know it's a normal speed videos. just for your reverence, watch other Bert flying videos....

    :)

  • yes, clearly looks it's playing at higher speed, you can note it in the abrupt camera moves from one direction to anoher

  • dammmm that is some crazy flying...!

  • I heard a Iphone!

Ohw, yeah, the OS 55 seems to run perfect.

Still happy that I decided to go electric though!

  • Headspeed??? 2100? 2200?

  • almost seems unreal !

  • how do you can you do tic tocs so quickly, when i do it on sim my heli is going down!

  • That would be dealing with the power of the motor. With a weak motor, the rapid set of pitch changes is bogging down the motor.

  • how much the head speed? is it 2100 or 2200 rpm?

it looks really pack full of punch besides the .55 engine.... really nice flying Bert

  • now I want a nitro... all your fault

  • which the temperature of the engine?

  • About 210 to 220 F, just like the Hyper 50.

  • Comment removed

  • Align 50 hands down, no questions asked!

  • wow awesome!

  • Crazy flying!!! 5*+

    Power is good!

  • OMG Bert!! You gave that heli quite a spanking. Excellent!!!!!!

  • Great flying Bert... Does that thing even bog at all? I mean how would it compare to the redline or even th existing OS .50H?

  • It does bog with the amount of pitch I am running if I try hard. More power than Redline or OS 50 by far for sure.

  • what kind of on /off setup you have now? is it not a 2in1 ?, also what is the beep coming from coming from at the first?

  • Running Spektrum 7100R receiver with built in regulator and governor, so straight 8.4 volt pack. Beep is my timer, we wanted to keep the video around 4 minutes of flying or so, otherwise it gets boring.

  • That long beep at the beginning is the Switchglo unit. It beeps when it is armed.

  • Bert, that is some awesome flying and that new 55 seems to take some real beating. Did you say in the video that you were running 14.5 collective and 11.5 cyclic or was it 7.5 cyclic??!

  • About 13.5 to 14 collective and 12 cyclic, just measured it this weekend.

  • That 55's sure one hell of a beast! Bravo

  • nice flight bert what exhaust are you running.

  • SAB-55, but Align pipe works very well.

  • Nice reversing piros at 3:04 Sir!

  • Bringin' it!!

  • Epic as in this is the best rc heli flight recorded by man so far.

  • agree........

  • Bert, you keep me motivated everytime I see you fly. I just did my first real life piro-flips ever last night with my trusty T-REX 450 SE V2. I'm really wanting to get into nitro more and more each day. You don't know how much your videos and comments help me out.

Thanks for posting always and being actively involved with your fans!

  • Bert wish remote glow ignitor you use ?

  • Using the Switchglo, works pretty good!

  • i need... i want!!!

  • damn... that was pretty sick looks like it has alot of power was there still half a tank left after a hard flight of 5 min?

  • Yeah, about 1/3 fuel left, it was a 4:30 minute flight I think and I usually get about 6:30.

  • yep! the new os55hz is really hot! have you tried the os nitro boost pipe?

  • lol I knew someone would ask if it is "accelerated". I always get the same stuff. No, it is real time, I have no reason to change the speed of any of the videos I make.

  • Its just me or this video looks like that its a little bit acelerated.Because looks like some frames are jumping at least on my computer.

  • Tightest & sickest flight i have seen Bert do, and i have seen a good many of his flights.

True skill, and as for the new engine, very little bog at all, simply amazing thanks for sharing

  • no bog!

  • Excellent flying~ for me, it's the best demonstration of the new 50 engines yet!

  • Looks like that new 55 can take the punishment. Amazing flying.
