I believe I haven't read this in a book but I believe the catholic priest planned all these events all out and some how made them happen to not make himself look like a fool soo when the time come 2012 blame the catholic monks from Spain.. i'm not sure if they were mayan or egyptian, or incan or something else.

Mi estimando decendiente indigena (aborigen) tienes tu historia equivocada, ya que para la llegada de los espanoles a Mexico la civilicacion Maya ya habia desaparecido , y con los aborigenes q interactuaron a su llegada por Veracruz fueron los Aztecas los Mayas ya habian abandonado la zona por razones desconocidas.

probablemente habia algunos decendientes de Mayas pero ya no de la civilizacion original.

Asi q la pelicula Apocalipto esta totalmente erronea.

gracias por tu comentario aserca la historia de los espanoles que conparto con mucha gente. yo e leido muchos libros de los mayas y e leido que la historia que e leido es verdad y estos libros no fueron escritos por la gente gavacha. los libros que leo dicen que la civilizacion maya estaba durante la epoca de los 16th century cuando llegaron los espanoles.

los libros que leo fueron escrito por mexicanos y fueron transladados a ingles para que sea leido por cualqiuera en la bibliotecas de los estados unidos. Cual es tu desendencia? de donde agarastes tu informacion? porque yo escuchado esto antes. me gustaria saber de donde obtenistes la informacion, si es de un libro que leistes dime el titulo para leerlo y mejorar mis estudios.

Good video very compelling but I still don't understand a couple things. Why were the Mayans chosen for what? For oppression? It seems like they were just another unfortunate lot who fell to the sword of the religious persecution of the time. Also you seem to be very cryptic here. Are you saying that there is going to be some big event that religous authorities are going to try and capitalize on? Either way really enjoyed the video!

I understood the question as, of all calendars previously discovered, why did the Spaniards credit the Mayan for 2012? Yes, they were just another unfortunate people who fell to the sword of religious persecution. Cryptic? (Smiles) Yes, there are hidden messages in all of my videos. As far as big event, I believe the whole purpose for 2012 in this day and age is primarily for marketing detouring people from the truth hence; capital gain but not much. Thanks for your question.
