hellhammer is probranly the best metal drummer in the world, but i don't care if its him in the bands or not, i love dimmu because i hik their music is amazing, the fact that hellhammer is drumming just makes it better. I also love satyr's voice, satryicon are an amzing band aswell.

Couldn't disagree with you more. I enjoy listening to HH's drumming regaurdless of who provides the music. He always brings something you've never heard before and ALWAYS lays it down hard. Best metal drummer there is, hands down.

If you haven't heard it yet, try Satyricon's "Rebel Extravaganza". It has some similarities with Thorns' s/t but is more complex. I'd also suggest you check Control Human Delete's "Terminal World Perspective" and Abigor's "Fractal Possession", and to some extent Dødheimsgard's "666 International". I love this new style of avant-gardish "modern Black Metal".

I see more problems with playing with them rather than with Dimmu. Apparently he's been friends with them for a long time. And it also had a good effect: I've heard 2 new songs from their new album and... by Thor, they actually starting to sound black again!
