I remember the guy being interviewed on TV in the UK when I was growing up there. he did indeed learn to sing the song backwards phonetically. That way his "singing" would synch with the reverse video.

@hindsighter what I meant was that for someone like me, who swings both ways, it is almost impossible to choose between Greta Scacchi and Tim Finn, in this video. They both appear utterly desirable to me. I would have been just 10 at the time, ah well...
