I now have an iPhone, (as of 6 months ago)

With the release of the 4G, iPhone corrected all gliches and unlocked many features that are now native to the phone and doesn't need to be unlocked.

So yeah, As of mid last year, Blackberry does suck.

They are only copying iPhone. However, I would still want free BBM, and push technology for my email in iPhone.

What a crap phone! The icons look like clip art and there is next to no apps the screen is to small, the maps are crap with no Turn by turn and text to voice. The virtual keys on iPhone are so easy to use only a retard could f#@k it up! iPhone wins in all areas, apps storage space speed and functionality are hands down better then Blackberry. This is a phone for old farts who can't and won't try to keep up with technology.

No Blackberry can even match the iPhone 3GS. The apple App store ALONE is reason enough to put the Blackberry in 2nd place, not to mention my 32GB's of storage, full touch screen, gyroscope for games. etc etc.

I had both. First a Blackberry then an iPhone, I never went back.

I love the bolds look. I actually prefer the look of the bold to my iPhone 3GS. If the iphone had that brilliant leather black backing it wouldn't need the cases and it would have a better grip and feel. I have handled a bold before and it feels like a cup of coffee was turned into a phone.

As an Apple computer user and owner, I am very surprised to be extraordinarily pleased with Blackberry Bold. It does not operate in any particular intuitive way, but it is very powerful and is an exceptional total-product: phone is superb & strong, and all the multi-media features are quite robust. And unlike Apple, Blackberry allows you to add memory (up to 16gb) in a MicroSD card (under a silver snap cover). Very strong phone & you can add memory - unlike iPhone (where they want all your $).

This phone is really nice. I have an iPhone 3G now, and I'm in LOVE with it. As well as every Apple product. I'm a huge Apple fanboy (look at my channel ;)) I can't imagine living without my iPhone. It's amazing <3. If by the time I'm due for an upgrade in 10/10, and there isn't a new iPhone/any word on the new iPhone, I'm gonna get this.

I just lost my iPhone! It's the original and not the 3G. I want the Bold because it's easy to text and drive and I can email my pictures and receive multimedia text! It has a flash with the camera. But no phone takes better pictures than the iPhone in Natural light! But the Bold has video! Browsing on the bold is so dorky with the little scroll ball. But the speaker on the Bold is ridiculously good! The Small screen sucks. I don't know what to choose! RIMs need to jack the price down!

I got the Bold for about 3 weeks now and the only thing I got wrong to say about is that "No Youtube!" I got my dad the 3G 16 Gig and I'm in envy when it comes to Youtube. Then again typing is a lot easier and sending and receiving MM text is nice.

Ok I have this phone for a little over a month. Again, no You Tube!!! I'm a You Tube addict and is in envy of iPhone owners. Apparently with all the great technology RIMs provide, such a camera that refuse to work without resetting the hardware. They can't provide a YouTube App. Good phone if you're boring! Yep got the app and youtube runs fine with the unlimited blackberry plan... I had to get a replacement for the bold because I got a defected one where the Speaker was shot... No water damage but it is a crackberry.

Well, the Blackberry is a very, very stable device. Not many bugs. The iPhone has had many bugs so far, as with RIM, almost none of their products have bugs. Also, the iPhone is just really flashy. The only thing that the iPhone has over the Blackberry, is that the iPhone has a lot more 3rd party apps available, and for free. But I'll stick with my Blackberry :)

I can think of multiple reasons. The iPhone is probably THE most overrated phone out there. I've used them multiple times and there's nothing THAT amazing. It's a touch screen, woo hoo. The on-screen keyboard is probably the biggest pain in the ass and if anything it turns me off from the phone. Blackberries have always been known to be better.

the biggest pain of the blackberry is the blackberry server management, I am an IT administrator and work daily on that, Iphone is easy as a pie and does not require per user licensing, blackberry get a big thumbs down on that

There is no removable battery (and we know ipods are notorious for bad batteries), no expandable memory. Also, you can not pair it up to a bluetooth headset for music. no a2dp. Any if anyone has checked up on recent problems with the iphone, the latest fault is the hairline cracks are that developing. Oh yeah, and there's no PUSH email on the iphone, unless you subscribe to the PAY service of mobileME which blows because it still isnt working properly.

How about the fact that the iPhone which is toted as a apple's premiere smart phone can't even do simple functions like copy/paste? u can tell this guy has never used a blackberry before because you don't have to rely on the track wheel to scroll down... blackberries have tons of shortcuts... for example hitting the space key serves as page down when scrolling.
