  • @SweetEdelweiss09 You are right... I don't get it either why she shows it this way.

  • omg this is hard hahaha :s

  • i want to learn and master every single on of your vidoes :P I would take classes at a school but they cost to much :P

  • you are awesome

  • Sort of got it :) she should of began with the positioning of her feet at the very beginning

  • are these steps for female and male dacers or only for female?

  • why are we looking at her face? she is hot we know this camraman but irish step dance is a dance concerning footwork not body movement

  • Great teacher, bad cameraman. Focus on her feet, not on her face!

  • pretty woman

  • woah.

  • Just because she was born and raised in Ireland and she has a VERY SLIGHT Irish accent doesn't mean she's actually Irish! Yes, being born in Ireland does technically make her an "Irish Citizen" but you have to have actual Irish ancestors to be true Irish. Am I right?!?

  • what a girl, i would cross the atlantic sea to see you, from southamerica to Ireland.

    sicerely.... ivan.

  • im not an irish dancer im a Highland dancer. But is all of irish dancing turned in??

  • very good are u from an irish family.

  • this is hard:((((

  • She's GOOD! And I normally don't this type of comment but is she wearing a cup? Girl gotta big ol' crotch. It might be the shorts. Nonetheless, she's AMAZINGLY good for an American.

  • @faegrrrl Nation doesnt matter.Evey person on this planet can learn to dance irish dances.Expecially those steps she shows in this video can be mastered quickly.

  • this is easy 4 me :))

  • omg this so easy 4 me and i never took irish step dancin :))

  • crap.... it's not that basic for me :/

  • soooo beatifull

  • exhausted.. i am too fat for this lol

  • i am 15, and i will be in my 10th year of Irish Step Dancing in August. i started when i was in 1st grade and im in 10th grade now, i still remember my first step and its very very easy compared to what i learn now, lol but my first step was a real called point, point, point hop back lol. how many years have u been dancing? :) <3 courtney

  • omg i JUST noticed that this is "the jerk" backwards" LOL

  • @2MsGamers no no no. the jerk is a back words of the irish dance :)

  • i cant focus on the feet... she too pretty...

  • Why do you fill the whole screen with letters. Why can anybody see anything the steps?

  • wow i suck at this lol..can u focus more on her feet!

  • It's great, but it would be nice if the camera operator focused on her feet, as missbeatrix1 said.

    Thanks for uploading it!

  • Wonderful workout and great fun!!! And yes, I can get the point toe, but the 1 2 3 afterwords is a pain in the neck. I will get it though. I just started this dance and want to become pro for talent shows, haha!

  • camera man: please back up enough to see the feet. Also, with the wording on the bottom, we still can't see the feet

  • lol I can get the point hop toe part, but the one two three bit is a little difficult for me XD

  • thanks. this is helpful

  • I love the beginners Reel I took Irish dance for four years and my other favorite that my teacher taught us was called the Walls of Limerick. that is just what she called the dance but it was a soft shoe dance.

  • very clear explainations - could end with a musical back ground ?

  • i have it do lets go for a drink

  • Which is the first video? Is there a video order indicator somewhere?

  • is there an specific order that the videos go in?

  • Very helpful, but PLEASE focus on her feet unless she's saying something other than the counts!

  • I started Irish dancing in January. Its so much fun. I'm an adult beginner who hopes to get really good.

  • LCMS; The "really good" dancers started dancing before they started school. A ballet background often thrown in. As a 26 yr old beginner, just concentrate on enjoying yourself and having a good time.

  • we learned it like a hop to the front then to the back then 123

  • me too isnt it so fun?

  • the best legs ever.... wow...

  • her knees are bothering me, they're waay too wide apart... and she's bouncing a wee bit too much

  • maybe her top half is bounding too much, but she needs to lift her butt! as my teacher would say, she's got lead in her knickers... and higher on her toes.... stand straight, more rigid.

  • are these moves designed for women or both sexes just asking dont know?

  • dude either

  • why would they focus on her upper body if we need to see her legs?

  • this really makes me miss my ireland!!! my beloved EIREEEE sob sob :(

  • cannot even find my original comment, but i'd say it's one expressing my love for ireland... well i know wat u mean, been there this summer and saw it with my own eyes, but the recesion is affecting the whole world....the dole is also awful here, just back from the jobcentre to see if there is any luck... so don't lose hope, keep the faith, things will get better soon.

  • thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

  • I'm Japanese. I began to learn Irish dance in Feb. I learn it once in a week in Japan.

I want to lean it every day !

    I'll watch your lesson videos.

    They are great !!!

I saw Irish dance during my stay in Ireland. I was very impressed with it!!!

  • @AngelsanAngelsan01 i know this is random but could u teach me japanese XD

  • suddenly Irish Step Dancing doesn't look so hard anymore...I'll have to try it out tomorrow and see how it goes and let you know...these are awesome videos!!!

  • thank you so much..i've always wanted to try Irish dancing...very helpful tutorial..you should make more!

  • my friend ripped her pants trying to prove she could dance this dance

  • really? that's hilarious.

  • It looks so easy...!

I'm just trying it on my own and I think it's sort of hard to copy the moves. Well, okay, I'm a bit demure and want to do it absolutely right, so maybe I'm making it harder than it actually is...

  • I don't know too much about ID, but from the way she uses her feet, I think it definitely doesn't hurt if you have some experience in pointe ballet before doing ID. ;)

  • Pointe ballet actually won't help you all that much in Irish soft shoe. Some habits that are great for ballet really don't look good in Irish dance, like plies, for instance.

  • I do Irish step I'm in Clifden Academy.

  • omg i wanna sit on that sofa! it looks so comfy! oh yh and i do irish dancing! i'm Primary :)

  • i am part Irish so i have always been interested in my family's culture. i have also always enjoyed dancing so i thought this would be a wonderful way to combine the two. thank you so much for posting these one here. i love them so much.

  • would you marry me????

  • wow thank you so much for posting this. i will be practising everyday. i find irish dancing so hard.

  • When you frist start it's hard but when you get into it get's easyer. Did you just start?

  • Nice and understandable instructions, thanks for the vid!

  • She needs to straighten her knees. In one of the videos she says that she got sixth at the Ulsters. I don't think she could survive at that comp!
