Just because she was born and raised in Ireland and she has a VERY SLIGHT Irish accent doesn't mean she's actually Irish! Yes, being born in Ireland does technically make her an "Irish Citizen" but you have to have actual Irish ancestors to be true Irish. Am I right?!?

I love the beginners Reel I took Irish dance for four years and my other favorite that my teacher taught us was called the Walls of Limerick. that is just what she called the dance but it was a soft shoe dance.

I don't know too much about ID, but from the way she uses her feet, I think it definitely doesn't hurt if you have some experience in pointe ballet before doing ID. ;)

Pointe ballet actually won't help you all that much in Irish soft shoe. Some habits that are great for ballet really don't look good in Irish dance, like plies, for instance.
