  • Maybe, Death and Decay Shall End; and there's more to what meets the eye in life. Hopefully, There is meaning to everything, everyone who's suffered in life; maybe there's a reason. By Chance we might find forgiveness, right moment and Right Time; Right Prayer and Right Faith. The Consequences we're burden with might one Day disappear and I'll see my loved ones in heaven; smiling in an everlasting moment of Happiness. Because It's hard to remember, that there's life After Death and Taxes.

  • i love RelientK & since its christian band i love it! <333 like if ur Christian &proud

  • You know what I want? I want to be able to view videos of my favorite songs and be able to read the comments section and appreciate how many others enjoy the same music as I, rather than having to dig through a bunch of religious rights. To each their own. Don't fucking go around and preach your religion to everyone on the internet and then when some self-righteous person incites a fight. Live and let live, forgive and forget. You can't force someone to see or believe something they don't want.

  • @KainSpice For the most part, I agree. It IS a religious song/band, though. Some religious comments are to be expected.

  • @KainSpice your comment is like jumping into the sea and expecting not to get wet.

it's a Christian band so you have to expect Christian comments and all of the Christian comments i see on there songs are how much they love RK because they belive in God! the only people i see not commenting on are the ones who always try to pick fights with Christians.

  • @jimcoolfilms True enough. I don't know what was going though my mind when I posted that. Either way, what's done is done.

  • I love these guys:)))

  • How about instead of arguing about the Bible and religious views, we just listen to the song and bask in its awesomness?

  • hahahahah a worker at Hot Topic told me to listen to this.

  • Lol idk why you guys are arguing about social programs. How irrelevent to Christianity can you possibly get? Social programs, like it or not, are a product of human beings. They were around before the Bible, in the Bible, and after the Bible. The Bible promotes giving to the needy and if the government decides we should give more to them, so be it. For the Bible also says to submit to the authorities which have been placed above you.

  • @GrizzlyMonkey15 True, but the Bible also says if you don't work, you don't eat. That doesn't sound like well-fare to me.

  • @TheRealTFWM haha well said

  • @TheRealTFWM

One thing wrong with that statement. Welfare is (supposed to be) for people who couldn't make enough money to provide, or COULDN'T get a job. See, back in the biblical days, a job was a lot easier to come by than it is now. There was a better sense of society back then, as in everyone had their place in one. In closing, my opinion is that people who are too lazy to get a job shouldn't be eating, but the people who aren't milking benefit programs, shouldn't be held to that.

  • @PenguinFated Exactly, like the people that apply for jobs but don't show up for interviews so they can say that they are trying to get a job. That's what I hate

  • i love your chanel!! <3 it has my fav music and it loads fast...lol

  • @kkcolors your welcome!!

  • There are 3 things in life that are certain -

    Death,

    Taxes,

and that if you load up Windows Media Player and the volume control is set right down to 2 or 5 out of 100, it means that the last person on there was watching porn.

  • I am an atheist, but I do love Relient K. :)

  • "Death and decay can't touch us now." <3

  • 3:02 best part Great song

  • @ikim12 Well, you can count me and the rest of the people who liked this out.

  • extraordinarily talented individuals to say the least. Definitely going to make every effort to attend their concerts coming up...

  • well from wat ive seen of god and hevean hes definately real and he aint like wat people think hes got a really warm laugh and well forgivness is for all who need it .and i sure as heck needed it

  • @zigzagger94 bet you wouldn't say that in a church

  • @zigzagger94 It's people like you who cause divisions and problems. Live and let live my friend.

  • @zigzagger94 Its funny how you say that on a Christian Rock Song... Go back under your bridge troll.

  • @LeandrenalinaDesign I noticed too. This song is part 2 of failure to excommunicate. It's technically called "Life After Death and Taxes (Failure II)"

  • Comment removed

  • wow.. those are some comments.. haha didn't bother reading it.. they were too long.. I LOVE THIS SONG ♥ <-- those should be the comments ♥♥♥

  • Who's the screamer in the song?

  • @TheEpicStickMan I'm not sure, but I think it's the bassist, John Warne.

  • @TheEpicStickMan either john warne or dave douglas

  • Ignorance is one of the few constants in human beings. I am ignorant. iOwnTheGamez is ignorant. Ronkeytown is ignorant. Misshannahmariee is ignorant. We don't know who is up above, but we do know what is here on earth- humans. Accept that we are all humans who will choose different beliefs and appreciate a good song.

  • normally i enjoy reading all the comments... but normally they say stuff like: I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • @ronkeytown okay well excuuuuse me for having this attitude. We all have different strengths in beliefs. I, on one hand, am I firm believer in Christ, but I also don't go shoving it down people's throats. You, on the other hand, like to choke people with it. And I'm not one to judge. But you seem to be labeling and judging me with the cause of "ignorance"? I'm 15. Sorry that i have a mind of my own and have my own opinions. If you don't agree and can't resist calling me ignorant, go on ahead. D

  • It doesn't matter if you are clearing things up, you are not debating right now; it is easily identifiable that you are fighting and this can only end in failure. If you truly want to debate don’t be so aggressive(in a bad way). I mean it’s okay to be passionate but this is causing bitterness and thus is an argument.

  • First off, stop arguing. "17 He knew their thoughts, so he said, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart. 18 You say I am empowered by Satan. But if Satan is divided and fighting against himself, how can his kingdom survive?" By fighting you only weaken the Kingdom of God, not help it.

  • @iOwnTheGamez You realize by replying, that your not helping the situation. Even if you mean well. If they are going to argue about God, then they don't clearly understand what he has done for us and that all he wants from us is to give him ourselves and our love. By fighting, they are turning toward Satan by holding anger and becoming hateful to each other. I don't think many people who love God realize that even the most petty squables are a sign of weakness in their belief of God.

  • I don't like getting caught up in religious debate, but you, if I read and understood correctly, basically seem to be arguing about either doing things for God to earn eternal life, or that you don't really need to do anything, and about if God forces you or not. Well, I have some input though I mean NO OFFENSE.

  • Can we stop arguing and just enjoy the song? Thanks.

  • @missshannahmariee It is your responsibility to be a mindful Christian. It is the "just enjoy the song" attitude that is the cause of ignorance among the Christian community. Thanks.

  • Thus find me any credible theologian that does not agree with my rhetoric. Cite him and demonstrate that Social Justice is not the function of Christ or the prophets. Provide external references to pro capitalistic bootstrap theology if it exists. Show me that Christ was not interested in poor and marginalized communities. If you are so sure that Christ would disapprove of Social Security, Medical, Food Stamps, unemployment, senior citizen aid, undocumented immigrant families then prove it!

  • @ronkytown Christ WAS interested in the poor...but Christ was NOT interested in your 'Robin Hood' theory of stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Your lack of understanding Christ is starting to show. Christ/God?holy Spirit will judge the HEART of man...what you fail to realize is if someone is forced to give out of their check, but really hates doing it...they GET NO CREDIT FROM GOD. Why? GOD JUDGES THE HEART. You read...yet you dont understand the Bible...or Christ.

  • @plumbshew I have trouble following you logic. Claiming "you don't understand the bible" has nothing to do with the questions I posed. Instead of taking cheap blows answer the questions. Again find me any credible theologian. If Christians did things only when they felt good they wouldn't "Christ like" would they. Logical Christians should not subscribe to the mentality "it feels good do it and if it doesn't feel good don't". I never mentioned "Robin Hood".

  • Moreover, a Christian does not do things to "get credit from God." A Christian does things that helps those that struggle and to promote social justice. Christ commands that if you have two tunics give one to the guy that doesn't. Safety net programs and legislation such as Social Security, Medical, Food Stamps, unemployment, senior citizen aid, and comprehensive immigration reform provide this function. Corporations lobby to avoid paying the taxes their mandated to pay. WWJD?

  • @ronkytown Now to your social justice theory. Yes, in the Old Test. social justice was applied. But, again, you don't understand why Christ came. He came to change the law. Things changed when Christ came, social justice being one of the main things He changed..here is Matthew 5:38-39- '38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.'

  • @ronkytown As for the rigid structure developed for widows(and orphans), read James 1:27-' Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. ' It's the ONLY religion that is acceptable by God. Understand, God is not for taking advantage of social programs...if that was the case...you would have seen these programs in the Old Testament...but you dont.

  • @plumbshew He would not side with the greedy that do not want to contribute to the poor and underprivileged. Again Matthew 5:38-39 has nothing to do with what we are talking about. And Actually Christ did not come to abolish the law or the prophets read the context of Chapter 5. Furthermore, your quote in James actually promotes my argument not yours. I doubt GOD would look down on the poor that qualified for Social Security, Medical, Food Stamps, unemployment, senior citizen aid, etc.

  • @ronkytown He doesnt look down on anyone;) Do this for me to prove your point. Quote me a scripture where Christ forced someone to take care of someone else(something like medicare). Show me a scripture that Jesus says if you don't, you go to hell. Show me some credibility to socialism. SOMETHING JESUS FORCES YOU TO DO. WHAT SCRIPTURE?

  • @plumbshew God is not against social programs he is for it and for the poor that need them I am pretty sure he would advocate them taking advantage of these programs. Contrary to your argument their are in fact many social programs and themes throughout the old testament. Again cite any Theologist that is condemns safety net programs and states that social justice is not the primary job of the prophet.

  • @ronkytown name one social program in the old testament. You said they were in there so what book can I find these socialist programs and themes? Keep in mind Biblical sharing is not FORCED...like socialism is. Thats the difference. You seem to avoid admitting that Jesus never forced His Will on anyone, why? Show me where Jesus forcefully took someones possessions and gave them to someone else. When you can do that, you'll start to have a case. Thanks and god bless! Hebrews 4:12-13

  • @plumbshew I never mentioned socialism I mentioned social programs. The old testament is full of them! In the Chumash one example Lev 25 "If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you." Legislation that promotes this behavior is not EVIL and should NOT be REPRIMANDED by Christian politics IT IS A CHRISTIAN RESPONSIBILITY TO PROMOTE progressive legislation!

  • @ronkytown Again...when Christ came, the rules changed...He came to change everything. You are good at quoting scripture, but fail to understand it. The only responsibility we have as Christians is to obey God and love one another. This does not mean ANYONE should be forced to do anything...show me where Christ forced money from His followers to give to the poor.

  • @plumbshew If you choose to close your mind off that is one thing but theologians such as Daniel Carroll advocate social programs because they know its behavior that is needed in order to foster social awareness. Considering the fact that you are beating around the bush and not addressing the question I posed to you Mr. Shew, I assume you are uninterested in researching a credible theologist that is against social reform. No thank you and may God forgive your arrogance/ignorance.

  • @ronkytown read what I wrote and Christ proves it with his own words. Matthew 5:38-39

  • Hey people down there...SHUT UP

  • @FunnyNamed

Sin is like washing your car, once you see it cleaned you really don't want it to be dirty again.

  • I love how there is screaming in this song... Its so fucking awesome

  • @NortonAntivirusable Hahaha i said the same thing... and they were ^_^

  • Anyone else love the strings at the end?

  • I hate when people have religious debates on my favorite songs...

  • @OGUIEEZY who cares??

  • @vasyuey troll

  • @OGUIEEZY Blame Reliant K then... that's what the song is about [Jesus Christ]. Sorry if His Cross offends you.

  • @intheechoofangels I just think all this arguing is pointless, just because they wrote a song about it, doesn't mean you have to argue about it.

"I don't wanna say i'm right, I just want you to know."

  • @OGUIEEZY Awww, poor you.

  • @Xeldryn umm okay. wrote this 7 months ago dude.

  • @Xeldryn hey, SHUTUP!!! :)

  • Nothin' left to say but...

    MMHMM

  • 11 people like Relient J instead.

    4 Person Relient K vs 11 person Relient J?

Relient K is going to win OVER 9000 times!!!

  • Love me some good Christian metal, these guys rock, and usually I listen to Zombie and Slipknot and such, but these guys have a place on my heart, helped me through some rough times and helped my walk w/Christ.

  • @dannyingram1000 I don't think that worldly christian is christian at all. Your mixing Slipknot (of all things) and the only all powerfull God together. Im pretty sure that that was an oxyMORON. You cant be clean and dirty at the same time. Choose one.

  • @FunnyNamed We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, thats scripture and if your a Christian you cant deny it. So, OZZY(The Prince of Darkness) says at the end of almost every live set "GOD BLESS YOU I LOVE YOU ALL", Paul Gray Requiscat In Pace Brother was the spiritual force behind Slipknot, Cory Taylor said that himself, Paul led the group to want to believe in Christ. Even Jesus' own apostles said "Increase our faith".

  • @dannyingram1000 1st. Jesus never said to increase the faith by doing what the world is doing. 2nd. if you mix the world with God, it isn't God at all. Scripture said, "If you are lukewarm, Ishall spit you out of my mouth." meaning that you cant be a worldly christian. That just defeats the pourpose. Death metal is worldly, so...yeah.

  • @FunnyNamed and heres the kicker. Romans 10:9 "If you confess w/your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED." I try to search out the good in almost all the music I listen to, and Im not a "worldly Christian", I already died to this world, but until God takes me home, Im gonna keep on rockin to secular and non-secular music.. Salvation cant be earned, its a gift, and the tunes we listen to arent gonna keep us outta heaven.

  • @FunnyNamed OK, I have to step in here on that comment and please excuse my opinion if you disagree. But the simple fact is that we are ALL DIRTY and always will be in this life and will only be be made clean when we face our Lord Jesus Christ and he makes us so by his own blood and forgiveness. Until that day we are all sinners no matter how much we try to repent and thus will always be dirty until the very end. True we can't be both, but that's a decision only Christ can make. That's Faith!

  • @MrAmberRocker So because we are all dirty in this life, it is okay if we do anything we want? after all, we are all sinners, so why not live it up some?

  • @FunnyNamed Sorry you misunderstood me. That fact that only by the blood of Jesus Christ can we be made clean is exactly why we need him & must believe that with all our hearts & souls. Once we truely believe that though, we should have no greater desire than to follow & obey his commands as well as God's commands. We should desire to stay as clean or sinless as we possibly can. Yet are still human & often faulter in our ways even as we do our best, thus we still truely need him & to believe

  • @FunnyNamed On my profile page at the top of my favorites list is a video called "How to Get to Heaven". It explains much better what I can't. Please watch it.

  • @MrAmberRocker Amen

  • @FunnyNamed The basic idea is that we have been washed clean and now we can see that getting dirty again would be stupid, we don't want to sin.

  • @freeofkings well said!! ;D

  • @dannyingram1000 At the same time, that mindset will eventualy escalate. your comment about what we listen to won't keep us from heaven will evolve and become what we do, what we say, and given the propper amount of time, it will become, "Not being a christian won't keep me from heaven." I have seenit before and also have experienced it myself. I'm just trying to help my fellow christian. Cut it off before it grows into something bad.

  • @FunnyNamed "There is now no condemnation to those who believe in Jesus Christ" Romans 8:1, I think it says something like that, or to that effect. Im trying to remember my scriptures and there addresses w/o having to look them up all the time, part of my "minister in training" training, lol. Paul says we wouldnt even know what sin is w/o the written "law", good and evil walk so close together that the line gets blurred at times. I refuse to be an ignorant Christian and just say, "its all okay".

  • @dannyingram1000 1st. your wrong, the bible never said anything like that, and 2nd. you refuse to say its all okay, and yet you are still doing it.

  • Comment removed

  • @FunnyNamed the Bible never said anything like what? Believe me, Ive got scripture to back all that I say concerning the Word, I dont say it unless its in there. And what I meant was that the world is okay and people just blind themselves to the realities of how far weve fallen from grace, its not ALL OKAY in the world today, and wont be till He returns.

  • @dannyingram1000 the devil believes that there is a jesus christ, and yet he was condemned to hell. no condemnation my rear.

  • @FunnyNamed the whole world is going to hell in a handbasket, especially "the body of Christ"-the Church, they still preach condemnation and its a turn off to those seeking the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE. I thank you for your concern my fellow believer in "The Way", but Im a solid Christian and I seek what is acceptable to God for me, not others, we are all at different stages of our walks and the Lord knows that. I suspect youd disagree w/the use of Cannibus also, medicinally ofcourse, lol.

  • @dannyingram1000 wow. It is because of that condemnation that christians become more like christ. if no one condemned anyone, where would we be? Jesus himself condemned people for setting up a market in a church. He threw tables and whipped people, but because of that, those people said "we were doing wrong." By the way, I completely disagree with drugs. even if it's for medical purposes.

  • @FunnyNamed Jesus didnt whip the people, he whipped towards them and did turn over tables cuz he was righteously angry, and had every right to be. GOD IS LOVE, you cant condemn people and say you love them. MMMMMHMMMM.

  • Wow what a great album.

  • Dave Douglas was a beast. for Relient K

  • Is this relient K's attempt to be hardcore?

  • "I am Death, not Taxes. I turn up only once." From the character of Death in the book Feet of Clay.

  • "Certainty? In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes."

    Benjamin Franklin

  • CASSADEE. ITS SPELT CASSADEE POPE. NOT CASSIDY. GET IT RIGHT

oh and relient k rocks. fuck yeah.

  • I like Relient k but this song has a political affiliation. (Conservative Right Wing Economics) Listen to the lyrics.I disagree with the politics behind this song. I dont care if your christian and you listen to Relient k. They obviously started Christian to gain listeners and chose this political affiliation to appeal to their Christian Audience. After they received attention from a large secular population they changed their style and lyrics. Analyze your music don't be a mindless drone.

  • @ronkytown I'm sorry, and I love God but, please keep your (wrong) opinions to yourself.

Have you considered that this is not a blog forum, take your big mouth and run it somewhere where people care.

Now, go back to your lab and try to convince yourself that maybe someone likes you.

  • @luciousllama Listen here Machu Pichu... Like I said I don't give a shit if your Christian. As for convincing myself that someone likes me. I don't have to you do. Because according to your logic "Jesus loves me that I know for the bible tells me so." Likewise take your wrong opinions about theology and take them somewhere they aren't questioned like maybe your church....

  • @ronkytown This song came out around 4 years ago... Have you listened to any of their recent music?

  • @ronkytown What are you talking about?

  • @ronkytown Well it would really be impossible to be left wing and be a Christian. The left promotes homosexuality and abortion...God disapproves of both, so whats your point with the political affiliation?

  • @plumbshew Actually, it is possible. I don't know about promoting homosexuality... or abortion.... because the political left is very broad and includes many different types of people more so than the political right. I do know that conservatives by and large support legislation that takes away from safety net programs that help out poor and underrepresented communities. Which is the reciprocal of Christ's function. Anyways it is not impossible. Research Guatemalan Theologist Daniel Carroll.

  • @ronkytown Yes but the one thing people ALWAYS fail to mention about giving to the poor....IT HAS TO BE VOLUNTARY. You cant say that Christ is for forcing people to give money out of their checks to welfare recipients, when most do nothing for themselves. When you FORCE people to give anything....its not what Christ would do...meaning its not of God. THAT, I can prove;) God bless...Eph 6:19-20

  • @plumbshew Then why is it that in the book of acts a RIGID structure is developed to take care of the widows. Look society as a whole needs to contribute to help the poor. The logic that one should give just when it makes you feel goods is hypocrisy. A nation that claims to have god's principles in mind should promote legislation and safety net programs. I will not cherry pick from the bible. Social Justice was the primary goal of the prophets throughout the old testament

  • @plumbshew . Christ was a man sent to help the poor and the rich that encountered Christ chose to either promote this function through their lifestyle or ignore this calling. I find it ironic that the Body of Christ whose responsibility it is to follow through with social reform hinders it with promotion of corporate tax breaks. Moreover, today's church is blinded by the political right which advocates big business and not social justice. "Render unto Caesar... Render unto God..."

  • i love it when relient k has back up screams, i dont listen to much screamo but they make the back up screams sound freaking awesome

  • I LOVE GOD AND THIS SONG IS SO COOL, RELIENT K IS SO COOL, I LOVE GOD! AND GOD BLESS U.
