My older brother knows them really well, he gave me a CD of theirs. My favorite somg of theirs is Sleep Gets Your Ghost. He helped them with a music video or something, check out his website, thejkco.com! Notice how she has a tamerine- shoe?
saw them the othe rday at Daniel St. in CT very cool show. tons of energy and sound. bought thier second cd and find myself playing it alot. They opened for a band named yuneyards aka Merrill Gabos. Check her out for another awesome earful. At the end of the night they did a jam ses together wow man . Merrill is also a uke player (tenor) coincidentally hope they play at Prospect Pk this summer.
i heard the wnyc piece as well on them. they seem like fun, i don't know if i could take an entire concert of this though. in fact, i know i couldn't.
fyi; way back in the day there was a duo called "grandma" that consisted of a guy who played a guitar/bass combo along with a percussionist. they never broke, obviously, but i remember they'd play griffith park in la fairly consistently.
