thanks minibabe, and to sparkalot, i knew jean michel quite well and those WERE NOT his original works in the '96 motion picture by Julian Schanbel...his father who i know well,as i have several of jean's painitngs,would not allow originals in the movie due to copyright laws and a few other legalities...just FYI

David's portrayal of Andy Warhol(in Basquiat)was stunning(nothing less than you'd expect)he was brilliantly awkward, detatched, and oddly fascinating. I also watch these things just to catch glimpses of his paintings(hehe)
