  • i had a project on this and it really helped THANKS YOU

  • Thanks! I love it! I am a born-again believer who is new at all this, trying to learn and observe as the Bible commands! And I Really love your website! I've been referencing it for years, I especially appreciate how you've layed out the Shema in the 2 languages! Thanks for all your hard work! Bless u! Shalom! sis Smooth

  • I'm perplexed by the comment "I converted to Reform Judaism." Does that mean you don't consider you converted to Judaism, but merely a subsect of the religion? How does that fit with the Jewish understanding of a unified nation of Israel? If you don't buy into the nation of Israel concept, why bother converting in the first place? (So confused.)

  • Reform Judaism is a 20th century modification of Jewish law intended to both modernize and create more leniency. Orthodox Jews are traditionalists and do not believe that it is legal to change or rescind laws and therefore do not accept Reform. There's a big rift there... Think of it like Catholics vs. Baptists or something like that.

  • I converted to Reform Judaism about 6 months ago and will be holding my first Passover Seder in a few weeks. This is very helpful. Thanks!

  • First off, Thank you for posting this. This is cool. However, I must say this, forgive me if i'm wrong. The Z'roa is suppose to be the shankbone of a LAMB. I have not heard of anyone using anything else. Am I right?

  • thank you tthis helped me with my homework (:

  • h3y gr3at work..^_^... I found this using a link from ur JUDAISM 101 website--- it's AMAZING how well you've researched & sweated to put that site together..!... AND the video's are a REALLY g00d idea ((I'd guess more folks--by far--will watch a video if they don't have time for website-reading, SO you'll reach TONs more people this way;-) & i bet u'll have alot of folks that end up heading-over to the website once they watch the videos---KEEP up the gr3at work,, Shalom, Rob =][=

  • This is very nice, informative,

    educational.

    Thank you very much.

  • A lesbian Conservative Jewish version of Rod Serling? The real Twilight Zone!

  • ****Thank you, Tracey*** for sharing your Passover with me!

It is obvious that you have spent much time and effort in creating both your website and YouTube offerings. Sharing all that you do has a far wider significance than you will ever know! While you will likely deny this, it seems True to me that you are of the class of rabbi...in the sense of one who imparts spiritual knowledge, if not a judge of law. May three times as many blessings as all you have shared be yours!

  • I am learning more about passover and seder meals so i want to thank you for this educational and enlightening clip. Excellent!

  • go to your local chabad house, the have seders open for all jews

  • Again, thank you for this advice. I'll be looking forward to Passover every year.

  • I am not Jewish, but when I helped a friend prepare for a large Seder, she said the roasted egg was there b/c it was cooked quickly, set next to the fire...and so it was turned brown by the flames. She couldn't find enough brown eggs in bulk for her meal, so we boiled them with tea bags so the shells would be brown. Just thought I'd share the explanation she gave. :)

  • Thank you so much for this awesome video, Tracey! I want to thank you for your marvellous website JewFAQ as well, it's perfectly wonderful! Your work is unpayable, may G-d's blessings be upon you!

  • Thanks so much. This is my first Passover and one of the many experiences in my conversion process. I really appreciate the help. :)

  • These videos are great! I am going to my first Seder this weekend and meeting my boyfriends family for the first time. I am VERY nervous but also so very honored to have been invited.

  • I am not Jewish but this will be my first passover that I will try. You have made it simple for me to understand and I thank you. How ever how in the world do you get every crumb out of your house to clean before passover begins short of having your family move out for a week so as not to bring in anything, I would love to see how you tackle that one. Wish me well its one thing to put the food out but another thing to explain what it all means. Thank you
