  • kirk touches himself at night

  • Nice, but since the movie has been moved to a May 8, 2009 release, you may want to do another one.

Who knows? You might even improve it with a second attempt. Still, I give this 4.5 stars.

  • is it just me or is Requiem for a dreem bit over done and by over done I meen done to death

  • Ya it is, but I wanted something different than the typical Trek music that everyone uses.

  • I think you should've used something more origional than Requiem for a Tower. it's over used, and even though it's one of my favorate songs ever, i think you should have used something more origional. other than that, it was very good, for when you made it, of course. :D

  • i WISH! Seriously, i don't know what they were doing when the bumped back the release date. sure they might get some more publicity... but what about US?! we've been waiting years for this, they can't do this!! ARRGGHH!!

  • Can you give me the title of the background music? Nice job by the way, and I hope you heard that the movie will be released May 2009.

  • Yup, it's called Requiem for a Tower, it was done for "The Two Towers" based on a score from the film, "Requiem For A Dream". As for the date, I did this video before the date was changed.

  • I always thought that Gary Sinise would be an excellent Dr McCoy. I have seen some images (i think they were) Matt Damon. Chris Pine looks like a good choice. Not wild about the Spock actor yet. He may surprise us. Only TIME will tell....

  • Very well done!

  • Nice presentation. Great edits and compositing.

Too bad there's no audio voice-over or sound fx to push it over the edge.

Excellent concept though ... Romulans traveling back to the past to change humanities future. ... Hey, wait a minute, didn't they do that with First Contact?

    I smell "Paramount formula"!

  • if they use the guardian of forever portal paramount better suit up for a law suit from Harlan Ellison the writer of the orignal episode i am not kidding this guy means business

  • The Guardian of Forever isn't in the movie. I think Spock uses a small timeship.

  • actually, Spock and Nero went back in time by using red matter to create a blackhole. this created another parallel universe (as seen in the TNG episode "Parallels"), therefore a new timeline. so the original Star Trek universe is still there, and the original timeline. Nero and Spock went back through a blackhole which created a parallel universe.

  • That's appalling.

  • The new Trek film is going to be shit.

Simon Pegg as Scotty is a really awful Joke Abrams is playing, he might think he's being serious, but to Scottish fans, having an Englishman playing a Scotsman is as an insult as calling a Scotsman, Egnlish.

No Shatner is also a bad mistake.

And Romulan Villains again? did they learn nothing from the failure Nemesis?

  • Nemesis didn't fail because the Romulans were villains.

It failed because it insulted the intelligence of the audience, Trek fans or not.

  • Better they have someone from the same, er, island playing Scotty than someone from a completely different continent like the original Scotty. Also, I'm tired of people complaining about Shatner not being in the movie. Get over it already...Abrams is doing the world a favor by not casting that egomaniac.

  • very good

  • Interesting.....

  • looks ok, the graphics from the enterprise look less.
