  • r this mobo suitble for oc

  • @mezal1981 oc :p noob

  • voltage controller gone wrong so it fries itself...

  • hha great but song name please ?

  • You needed a better cooler than that piece of shit. That just looks like an 80MM case fan ontop of a CPU XD.

  • wow dude you play runescape :D

    rock onnn

  • Comment removed

  • fail dumb ass

  • goddamn PARMJANA FOOKEN NOONGA CONT DICK FOOK ABORIGINAL AUSTRALIAN CuNT

  • @gaming0wiz your tough arnt you!! with all that swearing..... fuck you bogon

  • Overclocking is dumb. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. If you have any sense, you set up your machine (clocks, voltages, etc) so it WON'T crash, not push it right to the edge of crashing or destroying your hardware.

  • @doug65536

My Phenom II X4 is still sitting at 3.771Ghz... has been for about 3 years now i'd say.

My Pentium 4 D 940 is still running flawlessly at 3.801Ghz... has been for about six years now.

and Grandma's still using my Athlon XP 3200+ Barton core at 2.6Ghz (2.2 is stock) which has been running like that for about a decade now.

You just have to be damn sure that not only is the cpu cool, But the Voltage regulators, Ferrite chokes, capacitors and MosFETs on the mobo are cool as well.

  • @doug65536 This guy blew out a ferrite choke on the mainbaord btw. it's those little black cube looking things that filter out high frequency distortion in the VCORE+ voltage in the form of heat... which compounds terribly when overclocking and tends to heat the chokes up like crazy.

your an idiot if you think only the processor itself gets hot from overclocking, but if you've got experience and the knowledge, you can successfully pull off overclocks that'll last for years and years

  • @doug65536 Over clocking is only good if you have sufficient cooling. This dumb ass didn't. His cooler was terrible. Overclocking can also help your machine if your facing a bottleneck between your CPU and GPU. So you don't have to waste 200 dollars for a new processor which won't bottleneck.

  • Overclocking is for N00bz

  • @ShroedingerWatcher what do you suggest then?

  • @ooloops I suggest people stop thinking it is clever to overclock.

  • Next but an Asus motherboard

  • too much voltage? or just a failed component?

  • so after his computer failed did he kill himself nice song by the way

  • What a flamin' bad idea...

  • Buy a better motherboard next time. If you buy a overclock motherboard you know for sure you can't overload the VRM's without blowing up the CPU. Take for example a motherboard that has been proven successful for breaking overclock records (with LN2).

Take a look at hwbot.org for example.

  • Know how much money it costs the MOSFET transistor is burned?. u $ s1.50. And the company buys them by the thousands, with very little money, one could install more powerful transistors and we would not have to change our motherboards because they do not support higher power consumption.

  • LOL is that fuckin runescape?

  • oh my ,, tii bad .. i felt sorry for that bro

  • amd burned just like bulldozer

  • RIP...

  • Just set the vcore voltage to 2.0 she be right.

  • @aussie114 no way!

  • You must have burnt the voltage regulator, probebly set the voltage to high.

  • Sigh looks like you set the vcore to high.

  • Ahh I see what you did wrong. The electrical current arced from the PC to your retarded ear jewelry. You probably thought that Ashton Kutcher haircut would provide some sort of a buffer but obviously it did not.

  • Ahh I see what you did wrong. The electrical current arced from the PC to your retarded ear jewelry.

  • too much voltage?

  • RUNESCAPE

  • get a way higher voltage capacitor

  • it's a faulty capacitor on ur mobo, i heard that some mobo was built with faulty ones and when u overclock it blow up just like that

  • looks like nuclear power-plant explode in japan

  • HOLY SHIT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA AJAJAJAAJAJJAAJ

  • RIP

  • wtfs up with the song

  • don't breath that shit mate

  • Wow, burnt voltage regulator, your cpu must have been eating some power! Not to worry thoe the cpu should be fine?

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOL HAHAHAHA

  • runescape at the beggining ftw :P

  • That's why is have ASUS

  • XD that music (rihanna?) works great for that 'computer memorial' theme

  • I overclocked my 8088 to 900 MHz and the CPU blew itself off the board! So much for trying to get a 1982 IBM PC to run Win XP! I had pretty much the same thing happen turbocharging my weedeater engine to get my mountain bike up to 100 MPH and running a Tyco slot car on 40 volts DC! Guess I went overboard on all those.

  • just buy an xbox 360

  • bien, te recibiste de idiota con honores

  • Fail overclock is fail.

  • Bad chockes...

  • bee glade the cap did not blow they off gas flamable gas

  • NOOOOO THE CHIP DIED

  • Don't panic. Only the motherboard was destroyed, specifically as I see, a regulator (?), neither the CPU, nor the RAM. So, the only part you have to change is the mobo.

  • it is better to burn out than to fade away.

    Kurt cobain

  • runescape ftw dont be ashamed you play it rofl

  • runescape ftw dont be ashamed you play it rofl

  • Good game gigabyte

  • One of the PWM chip died. When you OC , use waterblocks for the entire motherboard, not only CPU, and secondly, DO NOT increase voltages at a normal motherboard, without waterblocks on it.

PS. To do a stable 24/7 overclock you need watercooling, just to make sure it's ok :-P. The investment is around 450 euros.

  • @reparatorii well i clocked my Phenom II x4 965 BE without any waterblocks, just a coolermaster Hyper 212 plus, from 3.4GHz to 4.1GHz and the temps are very low, mobo has only stock chipset cooling and nothing more... im running very stable for about a month, did a lot stress tests and the voltages are raised too but everything is ok, so ya, waterblocks arent so necesary as you think

  • It is essential to have the entire motherboard at similar temperature all over her surface. Entire system watercolling solution makes sure stays that way. Your configuration might help, cause of the chip manufacturing method - unlocked multiplier -.

In mine configuration, Striker Extreme and q6600 @ 3.6 from 2.4 I need entire system watercooled and black ice GTx2 and GTX radiators x1 , alpha cool top performance waterblocks and dual pumps for two circuits, one for cpu, one for mobo.

  • aaah...... the next time you will need to chek the temperature with a infrared termometer or a simple digital termometer xD

  • @luisfable Will a rectal thermometer work?

  • this is what happens when you dont know wtf to do

  • LOL What did you do to make it do this anyway? I mean like what was set wrong or whatever?

Also, why didn't you just reset the motherboard to run at defaults, or was it too late anyway?

  • what an animal you should turn it off in the moment before it started to smoke and then take out the small battery

  • LOL ur the first person i have seen that uses a duo orb

  • LOL 0:45 whole new meaning to Fire Wire

  • No vrm heatsink..

  • Cool Video. Funny when a PC is getting overclocked it goes on fire sometime because nobody ahs made a manual saying "How to overclock a PC for dumires" book. I am subbing you now. And I am liking this video.

  • Dude, don't put the voltage so high...

  • If I were you, I won't even overclock or underclock. It's better to have a slow PC than a smoking PC.

  • @yelnam2manley lol, thats not fun, gotta risk something to get something out

  • @willyk63 Oh okay, but I don't overclock anyways.

  • @willyk63 ya get something out a broken burnt computer for the homeless

  • @willyk63

you olready have something, but you want more and you try to get more then you lose everthing and you got nothing.

  • @willyk63 true a risk make anyone learn from their ba|) etc..

  • @yelnam2manley you just have to make sure the magic smoke dosn't get out... all electronics run on magic smoke, as long as you can keep it in then you're fine.

I've just passed yr 1 of my 2.66 Q6700 OCed to 3.00Ghz on stock voltage, and week one of my phone (n900) OCed from 600mhz to 850mhz and undervolted.

PC is far snappier and more powerful, phone has better battery life and runs more like a mini PC.

My E-Peen is massive and I havn't had any magic smoke escape yet

  • Your casing is so FUCKING uggly, I'm sorry I hate it..... Really really sad....

    you DID burry him right?!

  • @yelnam2manley meh live life have fun i think flames on a mobo is way cooler than a plain stock one xD

  • @yelnam2manley

Overclocking is usually safe. Only if you do something stupid will it turn around to bite you in the arse. I'm currently getting an extra ghz out of my CPU and it's running within Intel specified maximum voltage.

  • @Sposchy thanks for telling me, I know you can overclock it safely, but I rather keep it at stock speed.

  • @yelnam2manley

    Your loss.

  • @Sposchy OK. Just playing it safe.

  • lol did your mum an dad buy you that perspex fish bowl and it is a dumb vid a bit like saying i went to bed last night an i got up this morning duh you obviously had a lame processor that wasnt able to be overclocked ie you are teh n00b learn to do what it is you attempted moron

  • R.I.P. Motherboard.. Sob..

  • LOL, nice choice of music

  • why overclock... even as a pc enthusiast who has been building.modding and fixing pc,s since 1993 i have never wanted or needed to overclock... for the little bit of performance gained from overclocking cpu,s , gpu,s and memory the disadvantages far out do the advantages that said buy a celeron e3200 for £30 and try to hit 4ghz... with a good 3rd party cooler its possible and £30 wont break the bank nice fire though !

  • oh my gawd

  • That's why you should buy a better graphics card ^_^ in America there pretty cheap!

  • that suckssss! i feel you bro....

  • DOUCHE

  • aborigines} look it up mate

  • shouldn t i be asking you that ? do check up on ya history.. you sound aus. but your r not.. ask the people yall sold the land from..!!!!

  • @blissinthemix I am was born and lived in Australia my whole life

  • @willyk63 Me Too! I built a PC with that case for a friend, did you buy yours on eBay? Do you live in NSW?

  • speaking out ya ass huh Willy Wanker . what did you prove? that you can fuck up a damaged board.try stopping world hunger with that " batty - man " degree ya talking bout. make things go boom!!! fucking pot head. the only thing you slurred was the inevitable. No rocket science here geniASS

  • @blissinthemix WTF are you going on about, i wasn't trying to prove anything, AND you, your a fucking hero, you are, the way you talk i bet your all top shit actually you probably live at home with your mum and play games all day, so dont go spitting shit. a degree is more than you will ever get, man you cant get an average off a hundred views on youtube. I bet you feel good sitting on youtube all day trying to put people down.

  • @blissinthemix - Man I overclock all the time within limits of the computers functional ability, and in my opinion it is a good way to test Hardware, and you should have every right to as for the amount of money you pay for components is some bullshit, at least you can see whats quality and whats not, however I never overclock something unless its new, and I dunno where you got your attitude from, but drop it, he was having a laugh in a shitty situation of a crap mobo that kicked the curb.

  • lol do not feel bad i made the same mistake an took my pc to repair shop the next day

  • lol and ftw for different kind of people... i undervolt and underclock my rigs for the sake of lesser energy consumption ^^

  • cool cpu!!!!, I had never seen a transparent one like that!!!

  • The really sad thing here is that the original damage was a blown capacitor. If you had replaced those caps around the CPU instead of turning it back on, the transistors and chips would not have been cooked by the unconditioned voltage.

  • (assuming you wiped the BIOS back to it's original state)

  • @majesticlizard could you plz repeat that in asstralian for this dumb fuck...excuse my french ya...spoild kids who do dumb shit to get view on youtube..

  • @blissinthemix Who says im dumb and i didnt do this to get views on youtube, Im now studying bachelors degree of information technology. IS IT CUZ I SLURRED my words at the start ???????? does that make me dumb, and im not spoiled (if that is what you were trying to spell you fuck wit) i bought all my own computer parts, so who are you to judge you no life selfish prick.

  • @blissinthemix What have you got against Australians

  • @Holdenrulz50 the question you are looking for is what do i have against this guy?

  • @blissinthemix Lol good call

  • lol i overclocked the amd phenomx3 8650 from 2.3ghz to 2.7ghz on stock cooling, and it still stays at 30c idle lol

  • oh wait scratch that, it turns out the tempreture sensor was srong and its actually 50c lol

  • Yeah i get my Am3 500 upto 3.6ghz and it dosent go over 45, thats with aftermarket cooling and no aircon in a hot summer room

  • @sambaman009 wow an increase of 400MHz. are you for real??

  • @LB10671 totally. it blows your mind doesn't it XD

  • @sambaman009 no not really.

  • wtf...can he speak english?!?!...stupied australian/scotish/british...

  • @maksimum18 Fuck you just because i studded or something at the start, look at my other vids when i talk you fuck wit

  • dont overclock until u got proper cooling... it will run perfect at first but then u forget about the temperature it creates

  • @Wicc3d247 lol yeah, dude i had aftermarket cooling, a duorb, I overclock alot now, but i keep it stable, that was my first attempt and i didnt know what i was doing really, i just forced to many volts, heat wasnt the issue.

  • oooo damn that sucks.... i just started too but i modded 3 extra fans on the side of my pc that forces air straight to my motherboard.... i hope it last me... i felt ur pain seeing ur motherbored doing that though... kinda sucks but i guess we all learn from our mistakes

  • @willyk63

just because you have after market cooling doesn't man you mother board sets on fire xD

did you put everything to full or something? :L:L

  • @BKsMassive ROFL, yeah i put it upto 1.9volts, which was its maximum voltage, and if you noticed it was a non solid capacitor on the motherboard that blew

  • @LeisureCentury

but even if you have a crap cpu what do you rather have a cpu thats quick and may go in a couple of months or a cpu thats slower but will last longer.

  • Whats a computer?

  • @mjep25 The thing your using right now to post this comment, dumbass

  • why was the area that caught on fire totally centered unless you planned that to happen? this is fake

  • @SaintGermaine856 Nah its not fake, it actually did happen, and we decided to record it, and my mate just put it right were it caught fire so you could see it. why would i fuck my motherboard on purpose, here the background "ITS on fire AGAIN".

  • 1.9v!!!! HAHAHAHAHA... no wonder it fryed...

  • SHIT ! this is ASRock

  • thats why u look up max voltage =D

u can only reuse the CPU/CPU Cooler/ RAM/ GPU and power supply thats basically it. throw the motherboard out at a special disposable place if u havent already.

  • never overclock!!

  • So how much volt did you up'd to?

  • 1.9

  • damn ruined motherboard...hope it wasnt too expensive?

  • Guess you learn't your lesson the hard way. Did you like Up the settings by 100 in one go or something?

  • nah, just to much voltage

  • lol runescape 0:06

  • wow man safe to say its ummmmmmm dead yea

  • dude giz ya heatsink seems ya fked ya pc lol

    it is 775scket init ?

  • Nah its a am2 64 socket

  • Your name suits your personaility... YOU WILLY!

  • @ur reply to StopMotionMind's comment, how could you post this and expect to not get laughed at or flamed lol. when you fixed it i hope you cleaned up that birds nest of weiring :( so ugly for a clear case...

  • lol have you seen my case latley it has now 24 led rans running in it, if you want proof i will email the pictures.

  • @willyk63 Cuz Led's make ur rig fast ;)

  • Lol very funny, i was reply to the ":( so ugly for a clear case..."

  • increase in small increments and know your cpu's limit...

    class is dismissed

  • lmao was that runescape?

  • lol probably, i used to play it lmffao, to PK

  • you set the voltage too high?

fucking idiot. seriosly.... never even heard of a first time OC'er fucking up his voltages...

  • What fucks your problem, all i do was put to much voltage through and it blew a non solid compactitor,

  • I wasnt using any programs either, i did all in the bios

  • wow, from what I know about OC (which isent all that much) it looks like you tried to oc way to fast, your supposed to take it in small steps.

how much did it cost to replace all that?

  • yeah i know how to over clock now, it was only the motherboard that blew a capacitor on the motherboard because the voltage was to high, all i needed to replace was the motherboard wasn't to expensive

  • oh, well thats not as bad as it could have been. your processer dident fry? i would have thought it would.

  • Whats the stock speed of an AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core/

  • Matters what model, that was a 6000+ had a stock speed of 3GHZ

  • now i don't wanna overclock :|

  • Yup Those voltage regulators are terrible without heatsinks.

looks like it took a capacitor with it.

Junk it and get another! preferably with some rectifier heatsinks.

  • lol you add some good music on it xD! the cooler makes the fire more dangerous.. to bad

  • ur mobo isent made for overclocking

  • I have that same case.

Ever had any heat problems with it? Well, before this happened haha

  • lol nah not really any heat problems there is a few thing i dislike about that case:

    the chassis is fucking shit

if there is dust or flies in the case there noticable

other than that its good it attracts people attention alot cuz of my neons etc

  • lol u play runescape on those computer??? man change game lol

  • lol i only play runescape for the pvp lol

  • oh lol, but why ur motherboard its on fire when u turn on computer?

  • cuz i forced to much volts through it while i was overclocking, the on solid capaciter couldnt take this many volts and it blew up

  • oh ok, btw nice pking videos, i like ur range/2her oo fury oo

  • next time dont put too much voltage. go SLOW. like 0.05 - 0.1volts at a time

  • i saved everything hopefully, new board arrives next week which is good

  • lol fucking sucked in lol

  • Haha.

  • hahaha fail number one it was a AMD get intel for god sakes its better and will rape (AMD FAIL)....

  • lol i agree, i went budget a 3ghz duel core procesor is like double the price of the of an amd one, but i will get a whole new intel board and cpu soon, first i need to get a job
