love these songs. Perry Como, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra will always be the greatest singers of all time. I wish they had a perry como festival like they do for dean martin in steubenvill ohio.

My mother was 19 when this song was number one. Ten years later I was born. She sang this song to me and all three of my sisters. Thirty years after this song hit number one my mother died at the age of 49. All three of my sisters and I sang this song to our children. There are only two of us left now, two have gone to be with our parents. Our children will sing it to theirs. It is a family tradition. I so appreciate this song. Thank you.

My mom sang this to all the kids in our family . I have looked for the origin of it FOR YEARS--- and found it here yesterday.

I played it on the phone for my 2 oldest sisters yesterday as a goodbye song for our mom who died this morning. She was 88. ( all 3 sisters sang it to their kids and now THEIR kids sing it to theirs ! )

Great to hear Perry sing this. I have the very old piano sheet music to this with a picture of Perry Como on the front...copyright 1947 by OXFORD MUSIC CORPORATION, 1619 Broadway New York N.Y. !!! It was my mothers...she was 17 years old in 1947 and that was a big hit then.
