  • I wonder how this video could possibly be considered as an expert video. The guy sounds like he's talking just because he loves the sound of his own voice...... :|

  • CAN I USE YOUR RED LIGHT SABOR. oH THAT IS YOUR DISLIKES... SORRY

  • The belt is a moving part and most likely to fail you crooked bastard!

  • expertvillage + video=LAME

  • oops he did say rackit i think he needs to go back to school. Also he needs some more hands on experience.

  • worst repair video ever

  • What's next from this guy? "If you turn the key and nothing happens, it means your car don't run - see a mechanic"?

I knew my compressor was bad when I started to smell a burning sulfurish, brake-pad/clutch odor, then popped my hood and saw the compressor clutch glowing red hot and throwing sparks from its guts, just before the accessory belt melted. But, it made no "rattling noise"...

  • The rattling sound from a noisy compressor could also come from it being loosely mounted to the engine. So check the tightness of the mounting bolts as well.

  • so, how do you fix it? i thought this was a repair video

  • problem is when you turn on your a/c to low the noise is low also and if you turn it to high or medium the noise will increase, try to clean your evapotar maybe there is dirt or anything stuck in it. i hope it helps

  • maybe the rattling sounds come from your evaporator fan not in your compressor. because if the sounds is from

  • Hi -- I have a Dodge Caliber and the a/c just started rattling today. When I have the air on low, it doesn't seem to rattle very much, but when it is on high, it makes more noise and is louder. Do you think the air compressor needs to be replaced?? I'm trying to avoid that because it will cost a lot, but please let me know what you think. THANKS!

  • I hate faulty compressors.

  • He is wrong. If the compressor is rattling, there is too much pressure in the system. Just purge the high pressure line while the system is on and the car is running and it should fix the problem.

  • This was quite possibly the most intelligence-insulting, vague, and incorrect E.V. video I've ever seen.

  • air con must be ON when u top it up.

  • ok so ive been trying to figure out whats wrong with me air if it just needs a charge the compresser or what, so recently i bought 134a refrigerant and i let the air out of the system then started to put the refrigerant in

and notice ive used only 10% of the can and the pressure gauge is toped out passed the red zone so im wondering is it my air compresser? please reply i need air its hot in arizona

  • Are you running your car and have the a/c switch on and blower on high while filling? Also some diy kits require the can to be held upside down. And are you feeding to the low side of the system?

  • OPPS, I think someone forgot something...lol
