Im a 16 year old Bass singer in the East Texas Men in Harmony Barbershop Choir, and I got to meet the director of Vocal Majority a few weeks ago. They are a stunning group, and it was an honor to work with them.

I was wondering how they ended it live, since they just fade out on the CD I have (which is also awesome).

You should see this chorus in competition. They did the most amazing choreography in Philadelphia, yet still stayed in tune!

Evidently somebody said this is a gay group. Boy, that would sure surprise my college buddy and his wife and grown children! Hmm, naw, whoever said it will probably think that we've all had the truth hidden from us for almost 50 years. Yeah, that must be it. Regardless of their sexual orientation, they are one heck of a group and one that I'm proud to say that I know a member! Keep singing guys!

@skankinjay No, I'm not thinking of any group. I don't believe they're gay and never have thought that. Reread what I wrote. I said that "evidently somebody said this is a gay group." I said that from reading a number of earlier posted messages. The part where I said "Hmm, naw ... must be it." was tongue-in-cheek. Personally, I couldn't care less about someone's sexual persuasion as it doesn't affect me in the least.

I agree with MrsBreeBree! My choir director just joined vocal majority this year and he is happily married with a 4 year old son! They are good, and usually you only get choirs that are good like this when they're actually filled with people who WANT to sing. They... are... awesome

did greg ever get passed the torch of director? I would love to find some of their older stuff when greg was still a teen. I can't seem to find any of those older ...early '90s or late 80's shows. if anyone comes up with i'd love to see them posted.

I can't speak for them all, but my cousin is a member of the "Vocal Majority" and he is married with a cute little boy. DEFINITELY NOT GAY! They do sound awesome don't they, and I love the showmanship!

I sang with them for about 2 1/2 years and I can assure you that this is NOT a gay chorus. Most men are married (to women) with children. Perhaps you are thinking of the Turtle Creek Chorale, also from Dallas...

hahahaha, ever been to an after party these guys have?? I HAVE...and there are just as many hot chicks trying to get back stage as any ac/dc concert ever. They have a following of women that would blow your mind....
