edie brickell's songs would be good. there should be a way to place the mic somewhere better though. oh yeah, and try suzanne vega's "left of center" . hope to see and hear more from your talent. nice nice voice.
the only thing id work on is ur pace. maybe slow it down a little. the chorus seems to rushed for the notes and u have a nice virbrato so i suggest to hold those notes longer.
and keep practice that guitar, u have potiental on it ;P
