@trinatechniclor, you will find that although Bipolar is classed as a mood disorder, that in a manic or depressive episode people can in fact become psychotic.
Here's to all of those who are unwell and proud. I know I used to be depressed but I beat it. I was only temporarily impaired...but if you think about it the human condition is about being unwell and not knowing what is the right course of action or why things are the way they are

This song almost makes me want to cry sometimes because it reminds me of how people think of me, and also that there are few people that accept me into society (I only have 2 real friends). But it also reminds me that I'm much better than people think, and even I think sometimes. It explains me perfectly and is my favorite song. I've got ADHD, and it doesn't only affect my energy level, but also my mood and sociability. Sometimes my sociability is so low that I literally say 15 words or less.

My dad had Schizophrenia back in the early 80's. He lost his life from it. It's hard to even think about it. I suffer from deep depression, panic attacks and even anxiety attacks.

How does that work out of interest? I thought bipolar & schizophrenia were mutually exclusive disorders (isn't schizoaffective disorder the name given to mood disordered schizophrenics?), and doesn't major depression come under the bipolar disorder?
@theporksicle my brother was diagnosed wit both, but i never heard the term Schizoaffective. i guess they wont put them together in case for he says that his doctors said they cause two different types stress and depression. not only that but his bipolar outweighs his schizoness. i guess it may all depend on the person and how sever the case is
So isn't it possible that his psychotic symptoms are just a manifestation of extreme bipolar disorder? If so that would make his situation less serious presumably? Don't bipolar sufferers who are in an extreme manic, or, less commonly, extreme depressive state, sometimes exhibit schizophrenia-like symptoms?
@theporksicle My psychologist always told me they were seperate disorders for the fact I reacted to them separately. When I'm have my schizophrenic episodes, it neither affects my mood or is caused by it and vice versa.

@SpreadTheLemons We all have our scars and our sorrows. You'll find your balance. Just keep trying. Kids are cruel and unknowing and totally self centered with all the changes they have to go through and effort they have to put out themselves. Later it will get better with people..and you'll find your way and you can connect with the right people. Just center yourself first and don't worry about what others seem to think. I'm a medical student, and there is no such thing as a disorder that doesn't exist. ADHD exists. Just because you were born perfectly, don't expect everyone to have a perfect healthy body. @SpreadTheLemons We all have our scars and our sorrows. You'll find your balance. Just keep trying. Kids are cruel and unknowing and totally self centered with all the changes they have to go through and effort they have to put out themselves. Later it will get better with people..and you'll find your way and you can connect with the right people. Just center yourself first and don't worry about what others seem to think. It'll all change soon enough.

I was completely sane when this song came out and always liked it, but I had a nervous breakdown a few years ago (life is hard sometimes) and this song really speaks to my situation. I'm still me, but I just had a breakdown. I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell. Soon enough they're gonna think of me and how I used to be.

I'm a medical student, and there is no such thing as a disorder that doesn't exist. ADHD exists. Just because you were born perfectly, don't expect everyone to have a perfect healthy body. And it's you should do some research before saying an disorder doesn't exist. And doctors didn't study for more than 10 years to work for pharmaceuticals company. @starskypuss1
