Sigh. I want to play this with a friend. I have until mid april to learn it. Pre-med student with little time. Do you think this is possible? I play the instrument practically daily, but I've never learned key signatures, counting, or major/minors. I usually "listen" to music and wing it.

Advice? :(

maybe you'll have to practice everyday for over 2-3 hours to make it possible. I played violin for over 10 years so it's not so hard for me, I had students also played second violin part (she played violin for about 2 years), and it took her a month to learn through.

This is probably the best recording of this on youtube. It's just pure, just the music, without all that extra fluff. I don't want to see cute little six-year-olds "making an attempt" at it, nor do I need a full orchestral accompaniment to drown it out in the background. This was all I needed :) Thanks....

Absolutely beautiful, I have been playing the violin for 10 years, and this is still an exceptionally difficult piece of music to play. Both of you have exceptional talent, and yes when it is performed live in this setting there are a few mistakes, it is not perfect, but its the best amateur performance that I have heard, and I have heard a lot. You both should be very proud of yourselves

Excellent, le temps est parfait, la sonorité à point; on peut fermer les yeux et suivre chaque violon en lui même mais à un moment les aigus du 1er violon montent un peu à mon avis.

That is very good. i am much younget than u guys and U admire you, your are great. And yes, the first violin is in suziki book 5, and the second violin is suziki book 4. i am workin on the second violin
