@Tinopa2 : Soujiro Seta is the original "fake smiler" as far as I know. He's a character very similar to Sai and Gin, from the show Rurouni Kenshin. That show used to be on Toonami long ago, but I think went off the air when Naruto was released in the US. It was a pretty cool show. :)

Sai can defeat Sasuke..

Sai - Trained killer from elite ANBU division known as Root.

Sasuke - Emo spoiled rich kid from the Uchia Clan who will suck anyone's dick if they would grant him unlimted power.

Sai may not come from a special blood line like Sasuke, but thats what makes him bad ass. He can hold his own in Root and does not need any special powers to give him an advantage.

Sai was the chosen one ordered to assassinate Sasuke. So that in itself shows his ability.
