Bucky, the reason you're linking to your email adress instead of just writing it on your webpage so people can copy it, and mail you, is because if you just write it plain on your website, lots of spambots will pick it up on their way through the internet, and things will get messed up. I would recommend allways link to your email-adress, to prevent spambots and adds. Just saying.

Dude, if the user is too stupid to change the mailto application preference in his/her browser, and can only do it by copying and pasting my addy, I probably don't want them sending me emails. They likely be wasting my time and bandwidth.

Firefox 4 beta pops-up a window asking which email service or application to use.

Yahoo and Gmail are the standard options, but you can add other apps.

So using the "mailto:" code is less annoying now (at least for me). ;)
