  • I forgot about this song. And it made me happy all over again.

  • Let me put together a rough analogy for everyone (pretty sure it will offend some and fly over others heads completely, oh well). "Religion" or "Faith" is like knowing your favorite sports team is going to go all the way... In the end some were right, most... were wrong.

Luckily, I'm not really a sports fan XD

  • I Love this song! Well done!

  • Blessings of light and love to everyone. What a wonderful song, it brought a tear of joy to my eye. My wish is that everyone would just get along in peace, no matter what our belief system!

  • i dont think that... you should be arguing about religion on a song thats about religions coming together and people being happy.

  • @vangion youre the reason why people are starting to dislike christians

  • @MrSchutzzz

well, considering that prejudice is practically prehistoric, I'd rethink the "beginning to" part...

I'm not against Christians personally. really, I'm not.

just, history books open and all....

  • It seems the problem most Christians have is, because they believe in hell (ie eternal torment), it's almost impossible for them to just live and let live. I mean, if they're being true to their beliefs. Personally, I'm a Christian who believes God has it all figured out, Jesus is Savior, Redeemer and Lord, and agape love (God) wins in the end. A much happier place to be than the other, believe me. :)

  • @susankps...and you are intitled to that belief, however, the point of this song is about respecting one another in those beliefs, and respecting the fact that we DO believe differently and being willing to love one another dispite those differences.

  • @donnaclifton The point I was trying to make is that for some Christians it's almost impossible to respect other folk's beliefs because of the eternal torment in hell deal. Too much is on the line for them. Unless they're a dyed in the wool Calvinist. Oh, btw, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Festive Festivus, Stupendous Soltice, Happy Hanukkah, and anything else I might have missed!

  • @susankps Yeah, well if we are going to burn and be tormented forever maby they should just let us go and be happy for the small time we have left? ^.^

  • what album is this on?

  • In the spirit of Christmas and Solstice I give thanks to Christ and the Goddess.

I thank God for my pagan friends :-)

  • @Democrities , and I, a Witch in a religiously diverse family, give the Goddess thanks that there are Christians like you. May Jesus and Mary and Joseph, and the Oak King, the Holly King, and the Great Mother Bless you!!

  • LOVE not HATE ya'll!

  • Comment removed

  • My family is split as well. My father, mother; and I are Pagan while the majority is Christian. We get along just fine and enjoy the love in the air because we leave religion out of it. There's no need for it. Whether you celebrate Yule, Christmas, or whatever else it is that is out there, we can all celebrate together in harmony if we would just make the effort.

  • Half of my family is Pagan and the other half is Catholic. Yule/Christmas dinner reminds me of this song =)

  • Such a sweet song. I don't understand why people want to ruin it with stupid religious arguments. Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas everyone.

  • I am a Catholic married to a Pagan. When people ask how this works, I point to our beautiful, loving sons. Peace is found through love.

  • Can I be honest and point out that I'm a Christian descended from at least five generations of witches, who all also practiced Christianity? This is kinda like trying to cope with my own daily paradox.

  • Cool song, as to the peeps arguing......chill the heck out and just try and enjoy your life without judging others for their beliefs.

  • @MsFicticious. Thanks. well said

  • I got through reading about half the comments on this video, and I am appalled!

This is a song about unity, acceptance, and YOU PEOPLE MISS THE POINT! My girlfriend's Catholic, my girlfriend's mom's Hardcore Catholic, my whole family's pagan, and we get along fine, no matter the season. It's just stupid that bible thumpers have to show up here. If you're going to spout religion at a song we, the pagans AND the Christians love... GO DO SOME READING!!!

  • @K00NST3Rvideos Looks like someone missed the point. I, as a pagan, don't badmouth Christians (except the bible thumpers who need to go find a more satisfying religion to be happy). I don't attack them, although I want to. I disagree with a lot of their stuff, but I feel like the Goddess doesn't care what we humans believe in. We all need our rituals, and whatever feels right feels right. Believe in SOMETHING, and be happy with it!

  • Christmas at my house ^

  • I know my family is like this, my parents are Christian and me and my brother are Pagan..go figure. Now they don't join us for Yule, but do acknowledge it, and we do celebrate Christmas with them....it's time for family and acceptance. Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy Yule to everyone out there.

  • What an utterly fantastic song.

  • If this isn't an act (song creation) of love to you, you've missed the point. The moral is acceptance can bring about love -- exclusion just fosters misunderstanding, fear and eventually pain. If your philosophy teaches you to hate folks, go read Animal Farm... it is easy to teach exclusion and hatred.

  • You people, down there, arguing over religion. Shuushhhhhhushush! Silence, enjoy the song, and next time you want to argue, go for a nice long walk instead. And if it's hell frozen over outside and you don't feel like walking, eat a cookie and play a video game. Trust me, religious debate just ends up giving people headaches half the time when it's not needed. Course you have the right to do/say whatever you want. Just, consider the walk/cookie option?

  • @MsFicticious Even if it's cold! The cold and the snow has a certain solitude, a certain serenity that you can't get anywhere else!

  • Merry Chistmas and Happy Yule! <3

  • My inlaws and great-aunt by marriage know my religion. I know theirs. We all get along well during the Holidays. Angelique

  • Love love love!

  • One of my all-time favorite songs!

  • Artie & I sing this song..... love it! Merry Xmas.

  • This video/song isn't about religion. it is about coexistence. Wonderful song! Play it every year!

  • EVERYONE: IGNORE korz53! DON'T....FEED...THE...FREAKING...OBVIOUS...TROLL! GOD DANG OH BY GOLLY GOOD GAWD DAMN!!!!!! STUPID PEOPLE......WHEN WILL YOU LEARN?!!! TO 'MOONGODDESSSUNGOD & OTHERS'....STIFLE IT!!! Now, shut up, smile & enjoy the song...Thank you.

  • Good song for this time of year.

  • @SteampunkPagan I love your username. Just had to say that.

  • @MsFicticious

    Thank you very much

  • I cried

  • @WeakAsBronze it is truely a beutiful song.

  • Beautiful song! This so describes my family. Christians and Pagans sharing family and food at the same table. Love is what matters.

  • I guess when we die we'll find out what's up for sure.

  • @korz53 This isn't interesting anymore. Neither of us are making valid points, and I feel I'm straying too far into an argument, rather than simple bantering.

There is no proof of which of us is right or wrong, so let's just stop this, because neither of us will change our minds as you know. But congrats for making me pause and think. Few can make such valid points to do so. :)

Anyway, love this song, it's fun and really catchy.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Okay . Fair well!

  • @korz53 Although it is a fact that the bible has been changed by many people throughout history. There are even records of these changes. But my point is not about Jesus or anything like that. My points are heaven, hell, and God. It is impossible to have evidence of those things, so who knows who is right about what happens after we die. A few could be right, we all could be right, or none of us could be right. THAT was my point.

  • @vangion I don't want to argue with you. You are rather set, and I highly doubt you will consider what I say in any case. And besides that, what you think or believe doesn't affect me. What you believe affects you and what I believe affects me. So it doesnt hurt, anger, insult, or stir me up in any way. Why WOULD I argue?

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod I dunno, why did you start arguing in the first place if you didn't plan on backing it up??

  • Love this song. When my 12yo. son heard this, he said, now why can't it really be like that? If it was then we wouldn't have to hide ourselves from Grandma. I just responded by saying that would be so wonderful!

  • @innmymind what pagan religion is Grandma?, or religious group. ? that you need to hide from her. are you a criminal or what; on the run? Why can you explain your beliefs to her. or are they criminal that she will not accept what you say or can accept what you say do to it is unjust.?

  • @korz53 Also, even if they do not want to believe it, there is a sincere possibility that each religion is wrong. Perhaps Christianity is right. Perhaps Pagan or Wiccan or Jewish or anything is right. Or perhaps all of them are wrong. We don't truly KNOW for sure what is true. And I guess it is good to be good in the first place. But personally, I would rather someone do good and not wrong out of the kindness of their hearts rather than a fear of God. I guess there isn't much difference really,

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Jews have evidence, their covenant with God Lord Almighty . The Jewish History and experience found in their lives and recorded in the Torah. The Bible; the recordings of the witnesses, who some where the Apostles that have spread the good news of Jesus, the Blessing thru Abraham to all nations besides his seed. & The gentile nations that call them selfs Christians that have accepted the comfort of the Good news of Jesus . and the witnessing of the Holy Spirit.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Hell as a boo ! fear, is from Greek mythology that the Roman politicos used for their own purpose & is not from God, and is not the Good News. There was the Sin and the penalty of sin is death , is not Booing a fear but a warning to the consequences of doing harm unjustly. The law is the law and will not be compromised . violations that do unJust harm need to be paid for; eye for an eye. it is only Just. The Christ paid for the violations, and go and sin no more.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod the evidence is in the pudding , the pudding is the Jew & his Torah , the Christian and the witnessing of the Holy spirit; Who are the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham that All the nations will be bless thru him . And the Covenant with God and Abraham will be 100% fulfilled soon. The Jew is not a Holy Nation to God as of Now but They will be. The Zionist will change from their mostly God forsaken ways; They will by their circumcision they will!

  • @korz53 my point for saying that is that death doesn't teach anything. Especially to those who do not believe in reincarnation. If you die, you're dead. You don't learn anything from that. And I know at this point you are going to mention something about hell. But I don't believe in hell. Think about it this way. Do criminals learn anything from jail? How many have you heard of that go to jail, get out, and go right back? Punishments like that don't do much. However, if there was a way to teach

  • Two wrongs**

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod it is not a wrong, if it is Just. IF; it is Just . And God IS Just.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Man is unjust and has a sin nature and would like to think to get away with it as a sinner, but can not and will not escape God's righteousness . There is repenting, but they that want not to repent from unjust evil will pay for it with the devil , and that is and can only be Just; For the penalty of Sin is Death. brake my window , you pay for it ; murder me and you do not have to pay for the window or the murder , that is funny.

  • @korz53 That is the point where we must agree to disagree. However naive it may sound, you cannot fight fire with fire and too wrong do not make a right. In my eyes, nothing deserves death. Absolutely nothing.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Sin does, and a sinner can repent and be righteous and be Holy as God is.

i would agree with you that Man can not Judge anyone to death do to SIn or being a sinner, But a righteous

and Holy God can and will."I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Rev.20:14"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."'the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire"

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod "Absolutely nothing" ? Criminals would like that, as it will be that they can do murder and get away with it. No?

  • @korz53 It depends on how you define sin. If you define sin as murder and rape, then it's fairly simple. If the world was able to think in terms of respect and love, those things would not arise and if they did, they would be handled appropriately. "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." if you define sin as swearing or others that minor, than nothing needs to be done about them. If people relaxed and controlled their tempers and oversensitivity, those minor "sins" would become irr

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Sin; unjust harm to anyone or anything. We know good and evil but are not Just with it; as fire;one can do (purposefully or not) just evil with it (Just destruction) or Just good with it (cook, warmth etc), or unjust good as giving warmth and sustaining to a unrepent-full sinner ; or unjust evil with it as burning a witch or burning dead bodies for sanitary purposes from extermination camps (unJust destruction). All do to one's selfishness as in greed, love of money, hate, etc.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Sinning is being unrighteous with Good and Evil . Sin is unrighteous harming with the knowledge of good and evil. The penalty of sin is death.

  • @korz53 Are you agreeing or disagreeing with me...??? I honestly can't tell.

Oh well, all I'm saying, is that we should all be able to respect and love each other. The chances of that happening are very very small, but that is what should happen. Every single person from every religion, every race, every social class, and even those that choose with their lives things that are not entirely... Good or kind have a story and deserve all the love that we can give.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, '' Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men''. ( Luke 2.) Okay i agree with you , but what about Sin. what to do with it and how?

  • i read the words from this song " you find magic from your God and we find magic everywhere " as saying the Pagans are not as narrow minded from one place, from one God ; but we pagans find magic from many places wide and inclusive not as bigots, and that learning will enlighten one. Yet there are many intelligent people that will sin & do unjustness to others for ones own selfishness. not the answer hear. if life only was so simple and with out sin. Cute song but naive.

  • I love it!

  • @22Cat22 There is a misunderstanding with Deuteronomy 18:10

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,

    as was with

    2 Chronicles 33:6

He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.

  • @22Cat22 Christian are not anti Pagan. Christ commission to his Apostles was to go to all the Earth and say the good news , that he rose from the winter of the dead to the spring of a new incorruptible life for us, and in rightfulness all are welcome to God's harvest fest in God's righteousness & goodness that God Lord Almighty provides.

  • @sammyhain13 But that was not his commission to kill any one but to spread of the good news that death has no victory over Man. It was Rome pagan that changed it do to it served their religious politico's pursue of the Roman empire, eventually to call its self Holy Roman Empire; not Christian at all. As of God's Judgment for Hell is not agreeing with or not with God, but if one is a sinner doing and not repenting from evil, doing unjust evil, harm, penalty of sin is death, and that is the Law.

  • @korz53 I don't blame Jesus He seemed to be a nice Jewish boy. This "repenting" one must do has to be through your Jesus, right? Therefore it's an Agree With Us Or Burn religion. Actually Catholics are my favorite brand of Christian. Most of them actually don't condemn non-Christians to Hell. They also have enough respect for cultural traditions to merge with them. Here in the southwest Native American and Catholic traditions go hand in hand

  • @sammyhain13 The burn in Hell is a pagan concept from Greek mythology. To say believe or burn in Hell is using fear and Biblically will be not correct do to the Bible writes that fear is not from God, so the Spreading of the Good News was perverted by Roman politicos for their empire interests . Jewish Christian as Gentile Christians have one message and that Jesus completed the Law and paid the penalty of Sin for Man, as the first Man Adam by which Man fell to the condemnation of the Law.

  • @PANdemicWITCH as the Knowledge of good and evil is not harmful in it self , it is that the application of it unjustly ; then it becomes the problem to God's Law. Do to sinning will bring God's Judgment and condemnation justly on them that do unjust evil or even unjust good.

  • Christian are not anti Pagan. Roman politics , the politicos did murders in the name of Christ was a crime, and not Christian. Christ commission to his Apostles was to go to all the Earth and say the good news , that he rose from the winter of the dead to the spring of a new incorruptible life for us, and in rightfulness all are welcome to God's harvest fest in God's righteousness & goodness that God Lord Almighty provides .

  • a song about a family coming togeather. What could be more beutiful. Blessed Be

  • beautiful song. but why do people argue about religion in the comments just because the song is about religion? shut up and enjoy the song, which says:

"So the Christians and the Pagans sat together at the table

Finding faith and common ground the best that they were able..."

  • @thatguy0088 2 Chronicles 33:6

He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger. They fear, and forget that God it this statement was angry with the evil sin that was murder of children. not practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists.(unless they were also responsible)

  • @sammyhain13 Man not man. Man as a creation, Man male & Man Female. both have the characteristics of God; you may be just sexist. No?

  • @korz53 What has that to do with anything? If Christianity truly respected both Male and Female as being both aspects of the Divine, then they wouldn't have tried to edit the Goddess out of their book, and they wouldn't have dedicated so much of that book toward trying to assert men's dominance over Womyn.

  • @sammyhain13 There are Societies that have women as dominant , as some tribes of, in America, but most are patriarchal in this World, &, so? As one is usually right handed, the right hand is dominant but that does not say the left hand is dominated, it is just in reserve or vice versa. Right handed societies are patriarchal, left handed societies matriarchal lets say. The word dominant ? as what? Some individuals are very anal about their existence and are unjust; men as well as women.

  • @sammyhain13 God is eternal and is a Spirit and not flesh ,God is not a person there is no need for procreation with what one call a mate. God may be one and there may be more than one persons in That one God. But God has no need in a mate ; the persons in God may have the characteristics of masculine and feminine( but not as we as flesh) ,as what creation is, is what God is . And creation will not be with out God's righteousness for very long.

  • @thatguy0088 " you find magic from your God and we find magic everywhere " saying the Pagans are not as narrow minded from one place, from one God ; but we pagans find magic from many places wide and inclusive not as bigots, and that learning will enlighten one. but that is a nice cute song i enjoyed it , but it is not true, do to it is as bigoted as is says of others and is as narrow minded.

  • Wow, I love how so much hate is brought to a video about tolerance.......

  • @RedDragon033195 it is in fear of , 2 Chronicles 33:6

He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.

Mankind fears ones sin nature. Confuses with and politic of politicos and forgets that God is Love and does not hate pagans ,

  • @RedDragon033195 God will not tolerate unjust harm of sin of the unrighteousness in the Hebrew or Gentile ,or Christen or not Christian ; a pagan, That is Just & righteous. no one has the right to impose one self on another especially unjust harming of them.

  • @RedDragon033195 Mankind has problems with Man's sin nature be it Hebrew or Gentile or they that call them self Christian, some are not very Christian about it at all. God's Judgment is equal to all.

  • First heard this song on NPR last Christmas. Glad to finally find it online.

  • i love this song, it makes me feel happy and hopeful :D

  • I smell something foul, and it's the dinner being cooked by the christians and the pagans. This song smells.

  • christians hate ladies wearing make up and sexy clothing .

i want all churches to be knocked down .

  • @ukgreaterlondon Personally, I find ladies wearing make-up and sexy clothing attractive. And I go to church.

  • @TrunksBigSis

staying with one religion only is selfish . not having pagan temples built on main streets is also selfish .

i love satan but i hate jesus christ . satan is the sunshine , the moon , the stars , and every being alive but adam and eve never existed . satan brings light into darkness and helps all beings survive .

  • @TrunksBigSis....respectively ....I do believe you are thinking of Lucifier...Lucifer means light...and all the other goods things you listed. go pagan temples.

  • this is a really beautiful song. so cheary and lovely. i love the chorus :)

"So the Christians and the Pagans sat together at the table,

Finding faith and common ground the best that they were able"

i see a future where Christians, Pagans, Atheists, Muslims, Jews, and the rest are all together at one "table."

  • @vangion I'm not going to argue with you or tell you how wrong you are. Just know this: I AM Pagan. Satan is a CHRISTIAN concept.

And what the heck is wrong with everyone just respecting each other? I don't care if someone is Wiccan, Christian, Jewish, or believes in purple monkeys from Pluto. Who cares? As long as you actual respect that they have other beliefs, it doesn't matter what you believe.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod their are those that believe in murder , and have a religious practice of it or did ;( and it is or was a Goddess deity at that ). Sin can not be respected. { purple monkeys from Pluto may have AIDS so keep away from them, they believe in passing it on . (and so than what?) respect them and their believes.? }

  • @korz53 Purple monkeys? Pluto? You have disconnected from reality haven't you? Harm Ye None. That's all that's needed

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod I can see why someone who can not back up their comments would not want to argue their points.

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Why are you feeding such OBVIOUS TROLLS?!!!

  • @MoonGoddessSunGod Then explian satan's presence in Santaria, a pagan religion

  • @vangion Amigo, Santaria is not a pagan religion. It was influenced by Pagan roots, sure, and in a very visible way, but name me a sect of Christianity that *doesn't* have Pagan imagery here or there. Read the history of the religion, it should make things a bit more clear. Also, we get that Paganism is a word developed by early Christians to refer to the indigenous religions of Europe, and that has been re-purposed by modern new-agers and Wiccans of all stripes. We can move past that point.

  • @Spencerdoken I would suggest that you do a little research before making erroneous comments. Santaria is most definitely a pagan religion. I know the history of this JuJu derived religion and it is Pagan at it's very roots. Paganism is not a word anyone assigned to indigenous religion of anywhere unless they believed in multiple gods. And no we can not move past that point until the posers here can wrap their minds around it.

  • @vangion A swing and a miss. Seriously, where do you get this crap? Or are you just making it up as you go?

I don't mean to be offensive, it's just... WOW!

  • @MatthewHarper1121 what swing and miss exactly???

The definition of Pagan is not up for debate it is well established and it don't mean Wiccan as many here want it to and just can't seem to understand that it doesn't.

And why is it that you "non offensive" people can't seem to make an argument other than to insulting the person disagreeing with you, that simply proves their point not your's

  • i love both. :)

  • Tolerance. Yes. Well, here is the thing, when the new testament says, you are either for jesus, or against him, when xstians accept us, I will accept them. but their horror novel tells them that they can not accept us. SO, I tollerate them about as much as I tolerate Neo-Nazi's, pederasts, human slavers, pimps, these are all lifestyles but we do not tolerate them, right? In my mind xistianity is the same... Pretty song, though...

  • @Paganguy1 Sin is not to be tolerated in us or others . yes. But one needs not Judge or oppose it. we are not qualified. God's Judgment is coming. Vengeance belonged to a Just God , who can only be Just at it.

  • Ha, "because when Christians sit with pagans, only pumpkin pies are burning." Nice.

  • I heard this song a few years ago, and it has always stayed with me in the back of my mind. Beautiful stuff.

  • Ignorance. Someone writes a song about religious tolerance and the religiously intolerant call for her to be burnt at stake, metaphorically speaking. Pull your heads out of your butts. Who's propagating real evil here? The ones preaching tolerance and love, or the ones preaching anger and intolerance?

  • @noman72211 Blessings and love to you and yours. :)

    <3

  • @noman72211 What is evil? Evil can be Just and good; as good can be unjust and not good.

  • @noman72211 They're trolls.....and folks are stupid enough to argue with them. IT'S OH SO OBVIOUS....BUT PEOPLE ARE TOO STUPID TO JUST IGNORE!!!

  • I heard this song at the tea shop in my town several weeks ago and it's stuck with me ever since.

  • This is my new favorite song.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Maybe it will show people that we can all live together~

    Blessed be.

    <3

  • Great another one. You can not gain an education on The Pagan religion by watching GhostBusters and Chramed. There is NO ONE PAGAN RELIGION. Those that claim there is are usually Wiccans. Wicca was INVENTED in the 1950's with the help of Aleister Crowley, a known Satanist. It hardly has any traditions to preserve except those stolen from Buddhists, Druids,Hindis and Crowley

  • all im going to say is you have no IDEA what you are talking about sorry.... maybe you should do better research.

  • @bitexmexplease So in other words you actually have noting to say about a subject you know nothing about but feel the need to say something anyway. Perhaps YOU could tell us what THE Pagan religion is? Didn't think so

  • @vangion Iam a pagan thank you very much. I dont feel the need to go into detail on some one not worth my time but to simply inform you to shut your mouth because you are brainless.

  • @bitexmexplease so again you lack the intellect and education to back up your argument so you think if you call me brainless it will make you look less stupid.

Pagan is not a religion it is a class of religions, but let me guess you are a Wiccan right?

Go watch some more reruns of Charmed

  • @vangion you make me laugh. do youre research on the founding of wicca it wasnt crowley it was gerald gardner. getting all flared up because of alli said was do youre research better, informing simply that you were wrong instead of rubbing my better knowledge in your face. retaliating so bitterly just because i said youre wrong shows how insecure you are about youre own knowledge or lack of.

  • @vangion I also noticed youve been stalking this song for months just lurking in the comments waiting to pounce on anyone who dare speak against you. how pathetic. Does it make you feel intelligent to attack people who just try to tell you something that youre wrong about? Doe you think it make you look smart trying to belittle everyone? Sad.. really. you need some therapy.

  • @bitexmexplease No dumbass I am responding to comments made to me as notified in my inbox. Does it make you feel intelligent to make completely stupid comments???

I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, but apparently the "pagans" have difficulty in understanding what the hell Pagan even means, much less with the fact that someone else knows and disagrees with them

  • I saw her in concert! She came to a camp right near mine! It was F******AWESOME!!

  • Wow, its amazing how a song about tolerance can inspire such hostility and intolerance. Its a shame really.

  • Wahhh? backatcha. It was Pagans that crucified Christ on a Pagan symbol,

You might want to look up the actual definition of Pagan. Calling Satanists Christians is just very simplistic and shows the same complete lack of understanding of those religions as you show of the Pagan religions. Not to mention absolute and total ignorance of the history of Chrisitianity

  • @vangion Satan is a Christian character. To worships or believe in Satan means you accept the Christian view of the universe. There is no Satan in the Pagan mindset, you can't have both

  • @sammyhain13 Here we go again. Pagan is not a religion it is a class of religions. A class that includes Santaria. You really need to learn a little more about this subject, really

So far you have delivered simple talking points easily defeated strawmen

  • @vangion And? Santeria is a religion which follows the traditional African spirits the orisha. Sometimes they are represented by Christian iconography, as enslaved persons would use them to mask their faith. I live near the border, Santeria is a common part of the culture. You can Orisha candles at the supermarket. Simplistic? Perhaps. People are people. Anyone could choose to add Satan into their beliefs, but they're choosing to buy in to the Christian mythology.

  • @sammyhain13 Again your comments expose your ignorance. Pagan is a class of religions not a religion get it?

Santaria is a Christian based Pagan religion, no matter what it's origins

And yes anyone can choose to add Satan or any deity into their religion that makes it no less Pagan

At least you have backed off your other ignorant comment about "us monotheist" (extremely ignorant assumption on your part to include me in the monotheist group) crucifying Christ

  • @vangion Ok, I'll admit that I'm ignorant as towards what your actual side in this debate is then. You contradict yourself constantly. Are you calling Santeria is Satanic? Wicca? Christianity? Nothing you say is coherent.

  • @sammyhain13 What does my religious view have to do with this debate, ytu are simply spewing ignorance with every post that needs to be corrected.

And now you try to twist words to divert from your ignorance

Where have I even implied that Sanataria was Satanic? You are the one that says pagan religions do not believe in Satan, Santaria proves you wrong. What is you question about Wicca or Christianity? You might want to try some of that coherence

  • @vangion

Technically, yes, Santeria is an example of a pagan religion whose adherents may believe in the devil. However, christianized pagan traditions like Santeria are the exception that proves the rule. These are not the genuine forms of the tradition, but only partially preserved remnants.

  • @vangion Satan has absolutely no place in Santeria. They believe in harmful spirits such as traumatized mortals souls, or violent spirits associated with a place of tragedy, but none of this scapegoat evil demon b.s. If some Santeria believers accept Satan then they have bought in to Christian beliefs, as is their right as free thinking individuals. If you want to make your case then we could talk about Christianity being a Pagan religion; that could be a valid case

  • @sammyhain13 - Are you freakin' kidding me?! Hold on... Cause I fell into a 3 month discussion with a self-righteous (and wordy) Santeria person who said "No," when I told her that it's fine for practitioners to borrow from Santeria without needing to follow Christianity and they slammed and slammed and slammed saying that was impossible. Santeria is absolutely Christian in it's roots and it makes NO sense to deny it. So I left it alone. Now I see a Santeria person denying Christianity (Satan)?

  • @sammyhain13 Coming from a member of a 60 year old religion I find your simplistic sniping at other religions for not being traditional enough to be hilariously hypocritical

  • @vangion It's not sniping. Everyone has the right to mix and match as pleases them. I have experience in voodoo and brujeria so I'm just fine mixing and creating new traditions. However, if we're going to get into categorizing the great mish mash of faiths, then it simply becomes a matter of how one defines pagan and christian.

  • @sammyhain13 That's is what I have noticed about you, definitions mean nothing. You just make them up as you go along. You have demonstrated the level of knowledge that comes from reading a book or two nothing more and that knowledge has been tested by many here and yo have failed miserably.

Now just stick to trying to be different a kitschy with the girls on the schoolyard yo are fooling no one here

  • @vangion I have grey hair, arthritis, and raising 3 kids. Definitions are fluid. But if we're going to talk about if pagans believe in Satan then it stands to reason that we have to define what is pagan or christian.

  • @sammyhain13 I don't care how old you are our argument is only suited for the schoolyard. Maybe you are trying to be the cool old coot to your kids friends. Definitions are fluid on to those that try to manipulate them after they have been called out for being full of shit. Pagnism was defined long ago , simply any of the many polytheistic religions. All your totally refuted comments here have outed you as a simple BS artist, so stop embarrassing yourself

  • @sammyhain13 Keep studying kid, maybe someday you will be able to impress more than just the other school yards outcast with your knowledge

  • Look it is not rational to beleive in any supernatural beings they are all false.

Except of course for his noodly deity the Flying Spaghetti Monster who I worship devotedly with a strainer on my head.

  • @hillas00 The bible does warn against people who perform magic and physics

  • @infidel1978 "physics" Ha. I know you meant "psychics." but your slip show Christianity's fear of science and all forms of truth and knowledge

  • I love this song!

#Stop arguing and listen to the song guys.

  • There is no Pagan repression you idiot.Do you get hunted down and killed NO stop chatting shit

  • @infidel1978 In our Old Laws, we are instructed that the Persecution could ever return, and we are to act accordingly, which is to say we really shouldn't draw attention to ourselves through negative words, or deeds

  • @hillas00 No Catholicism was created on greed not Christianity.I get the impression i'm talking to a American here ???

  • @hillas00 Christianity is not copied from paganism maybe Catholicism is but not Christianity .You don't understand religion do you ????

  • @infidel1978 Catholicism is Christianity. You delude yourself that all the petty denominations are different

  • @sammyhain13 Catholicism is not Christianity but the religion of Rome.Where in the bible is there a queen of heaven??? Nowhere but there is in Rome and its Juno(in Greek Hera)the Vatican is built on a ancient satanic temple of Janus. If you Google the city of 7 hills Rome will come up.Revelation 17 in the bible says the city that sits on 7 hills is the mystery religion of Babylon the whore of Babylon that sits upon the beast. There's nothing christian about the Vatican they also worship idols

  • @infidel1978 Nope. Even your own Bible originally venerated the Goddess. There is holy Sophia (Wisdom).whom Solomon put in his Temple. Also, in Genesis when it says, "Let US make man in OUR image." That is the goddess speaking to your god.The Hebrew word used for "God" in Genesis is Elohim, the plural of Eloah, a feminine title for the Goddess. Eloah is the female "half" of El. This Hebrew Goddess in Genesis is Asherah, the Lady, speaking with Her mate.

  • @sammyhain13 hahaha you so full of shit you made me nearly fall of my chair laughing. Exodus 20:3,Revelation 1:8,Revelation 22:13 now go and read and learn

  • @hillas00 All pagan gods are the fallen angels that lusted after the daughters of men and left heaven took them as wives and went into them and produced offspring they taught men how the make metal and weapons among other things. They got condemned for it and thrown out off heaven. These are the pagan gods that pagans worship

  • @infidel1978 Our beloved pagan gods were ancient before anyone imagined your "fallen angels" and "nephilim"

  • @sammyhain13 pagan gods are fallen Angels condemned for eternity get used to it

  • @hillas00 Yes you do its just you don't know it
