They revolutionalised the way people thought at the end of a long period of sentimental "girl loves boy" (and never does anything naughty, like having a baby when not married) era at the end of the fifties. If you got pregnant in those days you "had to get married" because of it. The Beetles made people think: eg. "Let It Be!"

I believe Ringo still smokes. That increases his chances of going first dramatically. Paul is under tremendous stress, with the death of a wife and pending divorce from another, not to mention loosing half his fortune. Stress can kill. Just my 2 cents.
