I would refuse the order. theres many of us out here that would, more than the military probably knows about. Some of us keep our oaths to support and defend the Constitution, against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. If it came to it, youd be surprised how many people would stand down and not follow the order.

US troops are allowed ,by law, to stand down from orders considered unconstitutional. open fire or rounding up US citizens would be a prime example of this. There for I believe this would never happen. They just would not do anything against there families and friends. At worst case scenerio they would split with the majority on the US citizens side.

no one,.. we all need to use all possible non violent means as long as possible. If how ever, the government tried to take away our ability to fight (2nd Amnd), we, like the Founding Fathers, would then have to fight. It would be our moral and civic obligation, as well as it would be in our individual and collective best interest.

The Constitution is a contract, if the Gov "of the people, for the people" breaks the contract, they are no longer a legitimate government.

What you don't realize is that if there was a revolt, We would not be fighting an entire Military force. What I don't think you get is that soldiers have families and own guns just like anyone else. They are not brain washed and would probably join such a revolt from a tyrannical government. Do you not think about this? You need to factor this in to you thoughts, this also goes for many of the reserve and national guard troops, there would be a consideralble amount support their families.

Many Americans are made to feel that they are powerless to oppose thier government. It is good to know there are those in law enforcement as well as the US millitary that view the constitution as the law and are willing to stand with an organised malitia should the time come.
