As much as I am a Senna fan. Surely Hill beats Schumacher and maybe Senna to the 'king of Monaco' crown?

Ayrton Senna is the undisputed king of monaco.

The only driver to ever win it 6 times... 6 out of 10 attempts is also a percentage record. Also he is the only driver to win it 5 times in a row. in '88 he lost by loss of concentration so he led this race 7 yrs in a row! and very nearly won it at his 1st attempt in 83 but the race was red flagged, so he dominated this place all carreer long. schumi 5out of 15 attempts graham hill 5 out of 9 so he was better than schu but not senna..

Senna was the best in a time when other drivers were also very good (e.g. Prost, Mansell and Schumacher himself). Schumacher was the best almost without competition. The first good competitor he had to face was Alonso, and he lost the championship to him twice.

Driving in the rain is what sets a driver apart. All cars have to slow down so better engines don't have the upper hand. Senna was and will always be the king when it comes to driving in the rain! Also, there is no question that he was the master of Monaco. He won it six times, a feat not even Schummacher was able to beat.

I was recording Mansell & Senna's epic battle in "92" and the video tape ran out! Luckily, in the switch over, i only lost about 30-40 seconds. I have a female friend who was brought up on F1 born in "84" and it was a pleasure to see the joy in her face watching that Senna battle. She loves him just like me.

great video, its only missing Olivier Panis winning in 1996.......the guy was a great driver and his only ever win came on that circuit in possibly the greatest and most eventful Monaco GP to be ever raced (bar the Button/Trulli battle 2 seasons ago)

Hope you enjoy this video i uploaded. Monaco is in my opinion the Greatest F1 Grand Prix, it epitomises the sport. This video pays tribute to the heroics of those involved - such as Fangio, Moss, Hill, Stewart, Villeneuve, Prost, Senna, Schumacher and Hakkinen. Enjoy.
