  • I want this video on my Xenium 9@9i phone.

  • I am a Catholic.

NEVER question the authority of pope, bishop, priest, or any other Catholic authority. I must follow them always.

  • @MaBeast123

  • jesus= zuea-s story of herclesw , mthra extra

    Joan means grace of god

even in a movie tha recognizes her as a divine servent and not insane like the other one still is left asking, why a male messanger is deified and a female not? if jesus, mythra, horus, zues and hercules can be sons of god, why cant the same archetype on female, be a daughter of god? He was accused of and is worshiped as being god.

  • @MrVraiable so whats your first language exactly?, just to clarify you know.

  • @MrVraiable this was all proven false do some real research they have nothing in common wit Jesus

  • I am a French and i renew with the story of Joan of ARC by reading a novel from MARC TWAIN "le roman de jeanne d'arc", and i am amazed by the destiny of our "Pucelle"! Except the Saint part of her personality, i wonder why such a peasant girl without any instruction could be a genius military leader, a genuine nationalist in front of a weak King Charles 7 and his corrupted court, almost 3/4 of FRANCE under the rule of ENGLAND during 96 years, a stubborned french people 3 generations of slavery

  • 2:26 Lolwut face? XD

    Great Movie though :)

  • I love this movie. It's makes history entertaining.

  • @xxTormundxx entertaining? the girl who was innocent was burned into ashes, it makes it even more sad...but i salute the legend.....she was in a true sense a superwoman

  • When I saw this movie on TV...I absolutely loved it...bought the VHS and have since watched it many times...Joan of Arc was such an inspirational woman!! I bawled my eyes out at Jean's reaction to the end of the movie :'(

  • what song is playing the bg?

    its so gorgeous.

  • @Abbehz

It's a recording of "Panis Angelicus" performed by Charlotte Church

  • What an absolutely diabolical film.

  • @LunarEcli How?

  • That is, I don't remember La Hire's lines to Joan.

  • I don't remember this scene from the VHS.

  • i dont get why you guys are so mean!! she was only 17 when she did all this crap. Joan have up so muh stuff, i wached the hole vitoe and it is soooo sad. she died on a cross for talking to jesus thats some bul

  • Twice she had "medical visits" which confirmed :

    -1) She was a woman

    2) -She was a virgin

The first time the king of France ordered it to know if she was saying the truth. The second time the bishop Cauchon ordered an other "medical visit" : he wanted to have something bad against her . But he failed too.

  • @mouna28

I think he had other intentions for that "medicinal visit"

  • @mouna28 Actually, he almost failed, but then when English soldiers raped her, stole her clothes, and left her only mens' clothes to wear, the Cauchon (who debatedly knew or did not know about the soldiers doing it) had reasonable proof to say that she was a witch.

  • My favourite version of all the movies about Joan. Thankyou for posting it

  • Are you a real Lady? What I am interested in is Shaw's play St. Joan.I wonder if it was ever filmed .Shaw has some interesting ideas about life and St. Joan in particular.

  • I didn't know there was a saint joan movie! I read the play . This friend of mine is gonna love hearing this! She loves Saint Joan! I wish the whole movie was uploaded. Please someone upload the whole movie I want to see the one with Jean seborg though not this one.

  • cute young leelee sobieski : )

  • First: Paris was controlled and taken by the Burgunds and Duc Philippe III

The burgunds were French and allied of the english. Paris was taken by the Burgunds after the revolt of the cabauchiers that resulted in the death of many Armagnacs

Nevertheless, after a long siege, the city felt for King Charles, definitly submitting Burgundy for France

Second: Orleans, Patay, Beaugeancy, Loire already started to driven off the english out of France for Charles VII

    Formigny and Castillon confirmed it

  • incredible, i never knew that the medieval french spoke with a californian accent

  • Like Totally Dude!

  • lol we had to whatch this in history and my teacher was like why the fuck are the french speaking english.

  • 'He who is not with me is against me.'

Geroge W.Bush said that too. Like WOW!

  • Joan put it in context and gave Jesus credit for the original remark. I don't think Bush did, though.

  • Awesome movie, awesome clip, awesome woman. Need I say any more than this?

  • In France today, Joan of Arc is still a hero because of her bravery and fighting. Now that she's in Heaven, i can start praying to her.

  • leelee is WAY better than Milla

  • u kidding?

  • thats my opninion

  • bollocks!!! milla completely shatted all over leelee for sure.

  • the beginning of this video wasn't in the movie version was it?

  • It's in the full 180-minute version. It got cut from the 140-minute version.

  • one of the best movies of all time

neil patrick harris was great as charles and leelee was amazing as joan

  • This is my favourite movie ever - I am taking Joan as my confirmation name :D

  • I should have done that! I took Theresa, which is a pretty name, but I'm starting to wonder why I didn't take "Joan."

  • saint Joan ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

  • Joan is my confirmation name as well. I heard her story and related a lot to it because I'd always wanted to be in the military and defend my country. Of course, it was her undying faith that really made me sure that I wanted to take Joan's name. I wish I was that brave and that faithful. An amazing story and testament to faith.

  • thank you LadyAmaltheaUnicorn. this movie is indeed heart-touching!

  • great music choice on the producers' part

  • Wow, best made-for-tv movie, and second best joan of arc movie. Thats saying a hell of alot...

  • I wonder why im the first comment...because this is an awesome video and awesome movie!
