Ouch, Ouch, my back is hurting just watching this video. Never stand upright. Always put a bend in your legs and using the large muscules of your legs, buttocks and torso to power this excellent tool. His arms and shoulders will be sore within about twenty minutes. For proper gardening technique see my Get Fit Through Gardening Series on YouTube. LIke these hoes but use them in a PULLING MOTION USING YOUR LEGS. TRY IT. You will see the difference !
@aerobicgardener No your back is not hurting watching this video. he is keeping his back upright so will have no backpain and you know it.
Now perhaps keeping your knees slightly bent and using your legs is a good idea, but its not hard work and =he will get lots done before his arms ache. He has clearly done this before, and looks like he has a pretty quick method there.

Alternatively, you could wait for the release of my new video, "Sod this for a lark". Basically it consists of an elderly gentleman (me) poking half heartedly at a few weeds. After a few minutes I drop the hoe, make some coffee and sit down to enjoy the sunshine. If the sun isn't shining the video will teach you how to switch channels on your TV until you find a gardening program where it is.
Haha you said hoe..

That is to much work. I just make my wife pull the weeds by hand. while I ride the tractor. We have a big garden.
