This is just so beautiful. I really don't worry about his "French diction that so many worry about" because his voice is so perfect that nothing else really matters. I haven't heard any Italian sing French without somewhat of an Italian accent anyway. I'm sure his Juliet doesn't care either. Ending Diminuendo the best.

Amazing, incredible. I heard the diminuendoes of many singers, Fleta, Di Stefano in Salut Demeure, Anselmi, Kiepura... but this b flat filatura is the most spectacular I ever heard. Such a huge high b flat, fading out in that thread of voice, floating like that. Corelli, prince of tenors, but very close to the king, almost there!!!

Dear Racheleleeba. The time you invested in this recopilation Romeo et Juliette is a master class for any voice student. Just Corelli's interpretation is a motivation for any tenor who wants to know the technique of messa di voce in the high register. How a spinto large voiced tenor can sound romantic and tender.
