I got the exact same CB/PA system same exact speaker...i had a 25 Watt speaker hooked up and that worked fine.

went to radio shack and bought the 50 Watt today but i aint gettin no sound out of it....do i have to have an amp or anythin?

Go for the 12v adaptor over hardwire it's really easy to put on and take out of your car

jus go to radio shack and buy a 12v adapter that can hook up a positive and negative wire to the back--it'll work better than hooking it to the battery or fusebox--less wire to run.

Red is positive hook it up to the positive side of your battery. And black is a ground hook it up to a bolt on the frame or the negitive side of your battery. I believe you dont need the orange wire but im not sure. Let me know if this helped.

I bought the jack it self from radioshack. Then took the jack and wired it to the horns speaker wire then plug it into the back of the cb.

The cb is powered off of my truck battery. The cb has two wires one goes to the possitive side of the battery and the other wire is your ground. Yes the speaker is powered off of the cb by a 3.5mm plug that goes in the back of the cb. NOT AMP IS NEEDED FOR THE SPEAKER TO WORK :)

no ground wire or power wire. just a 3.5mm jack goes into the back of the cb then split into two ones + and ones - and that goes to the speaker. the power and ground are already huck up to the cb.
