fair hit. unfortunatley when you crush a guy like that the ref makes a pity call. watch the play. the puck carrier skates all the way in and around the net then puts his head down and gets checked- hard!. the guy that hits him sees all of this too, take maybe 2 strides, coasts 10 feet, keeps his arms down and makes a perfect body check to separate the puck from the puck carrier. too bad because it looks so violent the ref thinks he has protect a player that couldnt protect himself.
