@techdeckdude4 If he were, he'd probably be a lot like Scott Weiland today. He's still be touring, but he'd be skinny as hell with only a fraction of the voice he once had. Just listen to Scott in 1993, and compare that to how he sounds today. That's my theory of how Layne would be, but I'd rather have him like that than no Layne at all.

@techdeckdude4 if he didn't died of the overdose he would eventually died by the illness that he got. which one no one know exactly or family and friends keep it to themselves. he was even in a similar shape to those people who die of hunger, he barely ate. weighted just 86 pounds when found :( . he didn't have much life left when died and what awaited him was a nasty slow, painful death. i always say that the od avoided him of a more devastating terrible death... specially when
