So wait, is it actually possible to break the huge Icicle? I spent ages trying to figure out how, but I broke the icicle in the end so had to restart thinking it couldn't be done.
That's how these puzzles are like--but once you know the answer, you think to yourself, "Why didn't I think of that?" because it WILL seem obvious in hindsight.
The best strategy for this level is to drill with the Moldrill, then insert the small icicle and hammer with the Boarammer. Next, insert the Frog Bomb into the newly created hole. After detonation, simply Centi-Saw the remaining stump, and the icicle falls with little effort.
You can also brute force it, and just destroy the ice block covering the chest yourself.
Start with what you'd do to drop down the iceicle to bring it down to 999 (out of 9999) HP, then you can do whatever to get break it from there, like poking it with the umbrella or punching it with Zack's fist (if you punch it enough, he'll do a rapid punch for a lot of damage)

To answer your question the game SonSon was never released outside of japan. Which may or may not be unfortunate it really depends.

At its default, I suppose. I don't have any problems with Bonelich except for his very harsh room for error in the one after this one.

Looks like a confusing level. None of the solutions to each of the puzzles seem obvious.
Capcom makes lots of great games, but sometimes, I think it's the level of difficulty that makes them seem fun.
