  • Great and beautiful

  • Its ok to export the harvest and buy the oranges and juice from california, but remember who picked them.....

  • The real 'deportees' in the 'US' are the native Americans who didn't have to go anywhere....except the 'reservation'. Bury my heart at Wounded Knee.

  • Nothing has changed. American immigration policy is completely dysfunctional. And I say that as a legal immigrant. With millions of illegals it's all a joke, and I don't see it changing soon. They even had illegals cleaning the immigration offices in Virginia!

  • Thankyou TristoneThe for your info, however there seems to be problems with this site and I am unsure wether to use it.It goes without saying that I am very tempted. Many thanks.

  • if anyone wants to down load this concert it is on mediaget2dotcom

  • the US must act on and adopt the DREAM ACT . ..

  • Does anyone know how I can obtain the dvd for this fantastic concert. I`ve tried all the usual outlets without success.Paddy Reilly has long been a favourite of mine and I have of course got many cds/tapes but I`d give plenty to have this dvd.

  • Nobody sings sad songs like Paddy Reilly, and this one shows he can sing of American tragedies as well as Irish ones. This is based on a plane crash in 1948 in California. The best songs are about true events (see any song by Johnny Horton about history) or true emotions. Even as a rank amateur song writer, I know if I can't feel it, nobody else will either.

  • @musicmandon1 Hi, this is a Woody Guthrie song. Christy Moore does a good version, and a few more of Woodies. the Ludlow massacre, Sacco and Vanzetti Pretty boy Floyd. check them out.

  • love this song

  • Fantastic always,

  • great voice paddy

  • IrishandFolkmusic, thank you for posting this great music. We are all enjoying it!

  • Loved this.Great stuff

  • Lovely !

  • What a dream voice! ...great camera work too!

  • A beautiful version of this American ballad. What great folk artists we have..Paddy, Christy Moore, Ronnie Drew,Paul Brady...I could go on. Bravo, Ireland.

  • Agree. Great singer. However Fergus O Flaherty in Dingle is not a bad balladeer either. Pity he has no CD but can be heard in his pub most nights. His version of Dingle Bay is second to none.

  • With the death of Liam Clancy, Paddy is the last great Irish balladeer. Such a sad state of affairs.

  • @highwayman012 He is a wonderful singer, though there are others, like Christy Moore and Paidraig Mor.

  • I first heard this sung by Julie Felix in the 1960's. A lovely song!

  • a brilliant song, written by the great Woody Guthrie., and well sung by Paddy.

  • Is this the same dvd as his performance of The Town I Love So Well? That performance of it is probably my favorite ever.

  • Yes it is from that same concert I'll be uploading that today!

  • There is a Paddy Reilly Trilogy from IrishCountryMusic,Com, that I bought for £12.99 free p&p. It's fantastic and with this song inc.
