Failed Green Roof

green roofs are expensive! Im looking at buying a home and renovating it in 5 ways to make it Eco friendly. green roof, solar, insulation, compost, and a water cellar. my goal is to conserve the habitat, and make it easier to retire. not spending money on electricity, and gaining some tax breaks is a great opportunity. green roofs are spendy, who who chose bamboo? cause they need to be shot!

bamboo roots can punch through galvanized steel siding. i've seen it happen in just a few days. whoever built this chose the wrong plant
