Danny Byrd is an interesting lot that sort of teeter totters on that edge of cheesy and awesome. I love his tracks and use a good many of them regularly but they do hinge on the edge of being cheese.

It's sort of his trademark. That hint of uplifting cheese that's enough to satiate the palette and keep you wanting more but not so much where you just can't stand it.
