  • @JustAnotherGay96 it was for sema 2010, theres a video about it. thats all i know about it though.

  • @JustAnotherGay96 they've done that, its never going to be sold to the public though.

  • this was recorded with a toaster.

  • Awesome, You combined my 2 trucks in to 1... sort of.

  • do they make those trd super chargers for 3.4L V6?

  • @jamurphy60 yes

  • My Nissan xterra super would wreck shop on you.... Js....

  • thats faster then my twin tubro gt30 windstar, nice =)

  • i wonder since you put it in 4wd and floored it on open road if it messed up anything cause tht can burn up ur motor

  • your gas pedal getting stuck too?

  • Hater! Faggggggg. O no toyota finally has a problem O wait Ford had 19 million Recalls in just 1999 and GMC has had 20million year to date o and what has Toyota had? 9 million! BITCH!

  • at least those recalls (btw your numbers are way over) didnt kill you if you went to pass you, then have your brakes fail and while your at it the steering goes to hell. Also atleast fords and Gm's , let you put it in neutral while moving.

  • @Rlnthndr tacomas wherent apart of the recall enjoy your fords and gms while they last they have had more recalls than toyota and arent worth the shit their made out of in 10 years.

  • Actually I will enjoy driving a real truck, Not some piece of shit fake truck with a stupid v-6 from japan.

  • @Rlnthndr dude you're an idiot. Just let people like what they like and stfu. Some people dont NEED a truck that can tow 20k...ok...fuck! I'm buying a taco soon because it meets my needs: plenty of power, good offroad, awsome fuel economy, and better build quality than ur pussy ass low quality, no ground clearance, GM shit.

  • good because I like fords.

  • @Rlnthndr I work on ford trucks all day long and they're the most unreliable trucks on the road!! The truck inself isn't bad but the engines are terrible (6L, 6.4L, and 5.4l 3V).

  • @Rlnthndr Yeah, cause the 210hp ranger has a chance with the 270 (stock) hp tacoma with the same 4.0l sized v6. Yeah right, FORD SUCKS!

  • @Motorfordtoyota basing an entire line of vehicles on one vehicle. Smart. All toys suck. Toyota sucks period, once you drive one, you never stop. I will stick to american and german cars.

  • @Rlnthndr Lets see, Camry was voted best midsized car by MT, Corolla is the best selling compact, Tundra is the best looking full sized, same with tacoma for midsized, venza is the best car/crossover ish thing, and Highlander is one of the safest crossovers, yaris is the most reliable subcompact, and 4runner is the only compact offroad SUV left around, and for a reason, cause its the best. Sorry, but Toyota is just better!

  • @Motorfordtoyota if you like being a stupid gay libtard hippie than sure. German>japanese.

  • @Rlnthndr Bahahha, NO! My 88 toyota 4runner has 262,101miles on it, and never given a problem, the only reason it needs work now, is cause its old and has a rotted exhaust. I know a guy who JUST bought a BMW and the first thing he told ud was" NEVER buy a Biemmer. I just bought one and it has already been in the shop longer than I have owned it" Sorry, Toyota>German

  • @Motorfordtoyota trolling is fun, thanks for the laughs.

  • @Rlnthndr glad you were just trolling, because you definitely did an amazing job at giving the illusion that you have you head completely up your ass in your other comments

  • @Rlnthndr Toyota didnt even know what recalls were until they started using American parts....idc what anyone says the only car i will buy is Toyota cuz it saved my life so f*ck u haterz

  • @tundralover yea when you can get a truck that can pull 20k pounds stock from toyota. let me know. Until then, american truck own.

  • @Rlnthndr pls explain what that has to do with my comment cuz i dont understand what i said to provoke this

  • @tundralover you say "fuck the haters" only brand you will buy. Thats great when your tundra even with the 5.7 is still the lowest rated truck on the market.

  • @Rlnthndr yeah because they started using american parts and Toyota saved my life so yeah thats good enough for me and i dont really care for Tundras any more i like the Tacoma so why do u bring Tundras into this this is even on a vid about the

Tacoma plus if u hate Toyota so much why did u watch a video about a Toyota Truck

  • @tundralover your name is tundra lover. also I wanted to laugh at how slow this POC is, my truck makes power power stock.

  • @Rlnthndr yeah this was made when i was 12 i loved Tundras now that i know the Tacomas can make just as much power but be 2000 lbs lighter and this is slow? 0-60 in sub 6 sec is fast for a truck

  • @tundralover that you had to put work in to. Sierra Denali can get to 60 with just a tune in under 5 seconds.

  • @Rlnthndr how do u have to put work into this? the one im gettin will have sc when i buy from toyota it will have the supercharger so i aint doing sh!t

  • @tundralover except paying 5k extra, and you still have a wimpy sounding v-6.

  • @Rlnthndr im only paying about 2300 and ill be like 2000 lbs lighter than the big trucks

  • @tundralover good luck with your toy pick up truck while all the big boys do real work.

  • @Rlnthndr yeah on thier trucks

  • @Rlnthndr Wow dude get your facts straight before you run your mouth...Your just making yourself look like an ass.

  • @Mck419now and you look like an ass with out trying. Thanks have a nice day !!

  • @Rlnthndr OUCH...*eyes rolling*

  • What's the time on your 0 to 60 looks like in high 5 secs

  • X-runner comes with S/C, no?

  • No.

  • No....

  • no x runner just has a v6, suspensions, and body kit and the supercharger is aftermarket. The TRD x runner however does come with the supercharger. B

  • wow y'all talk a lot of shit about Toyota but yet they are badass vehicles

  • Comment removed

  • Why would anyone waste their time doing that, that doesn't sound like a viable explanation to me.

  • thats definitely an sc.. gotta be a retard not to hear it... 5 secs to 0-60 is pretty quick an sc isnt this massive flux capacity that will make you go from 0-1000000 in a second... if you want better results get a bigger sc, port it out and then do some magic with the pullies... this is a supercahrger... or it could be the trans going out like they do in all toyotas cause they suck and cant handle the after market add ons

  • I deleted my last comment. Yes that is supercharged. But it definitely was not done in 5 secs. At least not in this video but it definitely has the capability to do it that fast. It is at least 6 seconds but what I didn't notice before was that he had it in 4WD which made it slower. Sorry for the quick jump to conclusion and very nice truck.

  • Toyota trucks and their transmissions have always been bulletproof, especially the newer ones. The Tacoma's A750F shifts so much quicker and smoother than a domestic it's not even funny.

  • I doubt anyone that has commented on this video has the experience to make that call. It's all about what else you've got in there. All a supercharger/turbo does is compress the air flowing in... therefore to make it work better you would also need a cold air intake. etc etc

  • Wow, 4x4!? That's got some power to push that much weight up to speed like that!

  • looks like still slow!

  • Compared to what? The Tacoma is the fastest truck in its class. The supercharger allows it to blow the competition away. For a mid-size pickup, it's not slow at all.

  • arn't the dakota and frontier pretty fast to? i'm talkin no supercharger cause once u supercharged someting its bound to be fast lol

  • Yeah, the Frontier and Dakota are both pretty fast. The difference in 0-60 between those two and the Tacoma is small. I should have specified that a normally aspirated Tacoma is the fastest truck in it's class (4.0L V6 model). The supercharger adds a lot more...

  • thats stupid...why force an engine like that, if you wanted a fast car then buy one but dont force this engine using the 4x4!!

  • The TRD supercharger for the 4.0L V6 produces a very flat torque curve, which is great for a 4x4 truck. The large amount of low-end torque was the primary focus for TRD during development. The engine is well within its operating parameters, it's not going to explode and is performing exactly as it is designed to. The TRD supercharger is under warranty as well so why not have some fun? Also, a fast car can't tow 6,500 lbs., go off roading or haul nearly as much as a Tacoma.

  • I wonder how much a supercharger for a X-runner costs?

  • idk but with one that truck is a fast mo fo

  • I agree. 0-60 in 5 secs is fast for a pick-up. I know how much the TRD Supercharger costs for the Scion tC (about $4,000.) I wouldn't be surprised if it would run about the same price for the Tacoma.

  • @Interests2009: You can find superchargers online for around $3,800 now days.

  • thing halls ass for a truck i have the 2.7 litre and it still has alot of power

  • Trd under-rated it, they say SAE of 305 HP,

but these are dynoing at 300-307 Rear Wheel HP

so its more like 330-345 HP
