No, Nicole is more fit to be their leader if you've ever seen videos of their rehearsals or their recording in the studios. Consider Melody's voice, its main purpose is for adlibs and she does it so well. She's a powerhouse, the second vocalist after Nicole. No one knows why they turn the other girls' mics on. Usually Nicole or Melody's mics are the only ones on. But on concerts, it's different. All of their mics are on. So I say go to their concert! =]

Please consider both of their voices. Both Melody and Nicole are good singers. But like I said before, Melody's voice is different unlike Nicole's voice, which is very versatile and could fit almost every genre out there, especially the classic songs. And anyway, their management are the ones who decide who should sing this and that. Melody have her own versions of some of the songs found on their latest album but then they decided to go with Nicole, maybe because it's more pleasant.
