I just found this band and they are so incredible! In case other people are looking for music similar to this, here are some bands/ artists that I've come to enjoy with music in the same vein: Jaga Jazzist, CHON, Behold the Arctopus, Anomalous, Animals as Leaders, TRAM, Exivious, Cynic, Zhabareth, Ever Forthright, Evan Brewer, Jakub Zytecki, 1980, The Helix Nebula, and Gru. Enjoy!!!!! :)
@jmsbk12345 ok.. just saw a comment from you on another song from Lye by Mistake.. and was so excited to see you mention Amogh Symphony.. n now you mention Diablo Swing Orchestra.. i really wish there were more ppl in the world to enjoy the things we've heard.. I too am always looking for new bands.. 7 for 4 anyone?
@jmsbk12345 As for Tech Jazz stuff, sorry but no. This is the only band I have heard that encapsulates the sound perfectly, without sounding like instrument wank. However, if you PM me with some genres you really like I can recommend you loads of bands.
@AgainstEveryth1ng Thanks for getting back. I already have a large collection of all sorts of genres including metal. I love jazz as well as metal riffing and am always on the look out for any new bands. One of my favourite genres is avant garde metal that incorporates many styles of music embedded in heavy metal riffing and my favourite band of all in this genre is the Diablo Swing Orchestra, especially their second album which is magnificent and very musical. I hate screaming vocals.
@jmsbk12345 No screaming.. Hm. I would recommend Converge as they are my favorite metal band ever, but yeah. Harsh vocals. My favorite genres of metal are doom, and drone. So check out the band Boris' early work. The album Akuma No Uta would be a good place to start. Also, you probably have this one, but Dopethrone by Electric Wizard has some of the most rifftastic songs in metal withouth harsh vocals.
wtf?

Right that's it, I'm going to buy this album. Amazing music and thank the Lord no screaming or yelling which spoils 90% of all these styles of bands.

@AgainstEveryth1ng Great album. Do you recommend any other technical jazz metal bands with no singing or at least clean singing.
