this recording by the Odessa Orchestra is pretty terrible (I have it as well), & in a completely different orchestration. It even includes a photo on the back that isn't even Pugni, but is rather the balletmaster Aumer! :)
the majority of this music is not by Pugni, but is by Riccardo Drigo. Only the first track is by Pugni.
The "Adagio from the pas de six" & the "Esmeralda variation" are part of the so-called Pas de six that is actually the "Pas d'action pour Mlle. Zucchi" that Drigo wrote for Virginia Zucchi's performance in Petipa's revival of Esmeralda in 1886. I have 3 versions of the score, including the Imperial Ballet's own repetiteur from ca. 1905, & Drigo complete orchestral parts for this "Pas de six".
