pretty dog...my blue molley is 11 monthes now and i couldn't imagine life without her...pretty, smart, and as loyal as can be...just an incredible breed...sad story...good luck...
That video really breaks my heart. I have a 2 year old female ACD named Spitz, I dread the day I have to part with her, my condolences.......Gin looked like a real cool dog and obviously was greatly loved.
I have 2 Heelers, Kimber 2 years old and Bailey 1 year old.
Gin in a great looking Heeler, I am so sorry for your loss. Great thing you have done here. Thank You for sharing and allowing Gin to touch my life just a little.
It's so hard to see this video without feeling such a pain. Lepto is the terrible disease. It can strike anytime anywhere, and it goes around such a speed. The vaccination is not 100% due to various strains, and the vaccination itself has some risks I heard. I am so sorry that Gin had to go. I am sure Gin had a time of his life with you. Until you see him again...
My blue heeler is going to be put down tomorrow morning.
They make such great dogs... thankfully she lived to be 14, but unfortanately, she had a stroke this weekend and has taken a terrible turn. God bless Gin and the short time he lived, i hope it was great.
Thanks for sharing your tribute to Gin. I have had 7 dogs so far in my life and have loved each one. They were all unigue in their own way. Dogs are wonderful companions, but so short lived. There are always others waiting to enter our lives when a loved one passes.
Cattle dogs are the best of the best.
Thanks again and hope that you adopt another to fill the void.
I am so sorry for your loss. I write this through tears thinking of the pain I would feel if I lost my JakeJake or Kiwi. While you can never replace Gin- you know as well as any ACD lover that your next cattle dog will bring you so much love and joy. This video is a beautiful way to remember your Gin and to show the rest of the world how fabulous and wonderful your ACD was.
A beautiful dog! so similar to my Tasman ... when I think that I might loose him, I feel like crying. World would be so much emptier without him, so I understand your loss ...
He was a very handsome boy! I'm sorry you lost him to Lepto. I'm a Vet tech and I've seen many dogs pass from the virus. Again I am sorry for you losing such a wonderful animal. I hope you will find room in your heart for another ACD.

I have a 5 month old Blue Heeler that is FINALLY recovering from a parvovirus attack this weekend...
It was very scary!! But I truly feel for you--I came close enough to losing him to get a very bitter taste.
Sometimes there is just nothing you can do. But whats important is the life you gave him before hand.
God bless, you WILL see him again. :)

Our pets are with us for such a short time. And they spend all of that time.. loving us. For that, we are truly blessed. You will meet again someday.

I know the feeling. I had an ACD (Cida) who died 2 years ago. Fantastic dogs!

Thank you for sharing this. It is so great that you have so much footage and pics of your GIN.
I am sure Gin will always be with you.
I know what it is like to lose a super ACD... It really hurts. Mine was called Gipper. She died from a Brown Snake bite which gave her a heart attack.
They are all playing happily together now in ACD Paradise..
