fooling around whit a Boss ph-2 and a Digitech grunge

what i like about this pedal is there are so many options and you can get some really crazy experimental stuff. The phase 90 is like...one knob. Definitely not enough options for me. Phase 100 is 2 knobs. This has 4. I'm thinking this is a digital pedal which I don't like though

PH-2 was all analog - they replaced it with a digital PH-3 maybe 10 years ago

ds-1 threw ph-2 threw marshall thats how i run mine and its sick~ not dogging your playing or anything like that but the digijunk really doesnt due this ph-2 any justice! the ph-2 is alot more pedal then most think, go from playing a soft warm allmost chorus sound all the way to outta the world physodelic stuff very very useable pedal when used with the right config! i use it enough that i just bought a back up!

I have Both of those pedals too.

I love The Phaser, im in a Prog Rock Band, and well combine so delay into it with other wierd shit, makes for a great experimetal song.

The Grunge Pedal is Great Too.

no offense or anything, i just can't stand Didgitech's products, mostly because their products are modeling devices rather than true original analog sounds. Most of my pedals are Boss, the only digitech one i have is the digiverb which is actually one of their only decent pedals because well... it's reverb lol.

i'm pretty sure the grunge is an analog pedal. as are the bad monkey, screamin blues, and a couple of the other drive/distortion pedals.

the digiverb rocks though, i love mine

Dude u must like Nirvan so please stay away from DigiTech .....did you know that Kurt Cobain got that grunge pedal cuz Digitech gave it to him for free and he literately threw it at the audience after playing a show with it. Stay with Boss pedals.....Kurt used a DS-1 and DS-2 distortion pedals to get the real grunge sound. please STAY AWAY FROM DIGITECH!

yeah i know, and i got it for free from a friend xd and I do have a ds2 wich I use a lott more than the digicrap thingy

I even have a small clone for the chrous sound of kurt , I just love that guy <3

maybe I should make a new review whit the ds2, and make a beter review than this one xd I know it kinda sucks

The grunge isnt that bad, it doesnt get a good nirvana tone but it is actaully a pretty nice pedal.

yeah i know it's not bad but if you want to play grunge is not good at all

but if you want to play stuff like seether and three days grace ect. it's pretty good

It's not for grunge it's more for thing like post-grunge and heaveyer stuff

one question.. why is the led colored green? when it's supposed to be red right?

thats because i made it green, it was red but i put a green one in it. I did the same with my ds-2 which got a orange one in it and mij sd-1 which got an yellow led in it.

I find it kind of funny if the led is the same coller as the pedal and no it doesn't have any effect on the sound
