I absolutely love this perfume, and discovered it a few months ago with a sprayable magazine sample that is so cool! Sadly though it's a little mature for my age, and expensive so I've decided to wait.

Love this perfume. The day i bought it, the radio would not stop playing E.T.-Katy Perry. How appropriate o_O. Now, I can't think of one without the other lmao.

I am not a huge fan of jasmine. But I am a HUGE fan of Mugler's. So I bought me some Alien yesterday. Do I regret it? Partly LOL But even though I wasnt a big fan of it, I ALWAYS went back to it. I can not shake it off. So I took it as a sign and treated myself. I had a sample of the edt before but I obviously bought the edp. And already, I much prefer it. And yes, partly because you liked is so much, i felt more secured in buying it (like everything else, im partial to good reviews hehe).

Chris... have you tried Escada Magnetism (sadly discontinued I think but you can still get it)...

A lot of people get a grape-soda type smell from that too, but I like it a lot more than something like Alien. It has a sort of grape smell at first and then goes into a more cola and woods type smell. Very cooling and nice. I probably will get a bottle and if you haven't I'd get some before it gets really hard to get.

You might find some scent more masculine or more feminine, but it is socially constructed. If you look at perfumers, or noses, the type of perfume they talk about are: oriental, wood, floral, gourmand, leather, chypre, fougere ...

Awesome new intro! Also, I really enjoy Alien (sometimes haha), except everyone I know who wears it is a guy. I still cant get past just using the mini sample sprayers and actually getting a full size...it is almost too weird for me.

Seems like I remember reading that this was made for men to enjoy on women, while most womens fragrances aim to please women's sense of smell. Interesting take. I haven't really seen it anywhere but I'd like to smell it sometime.

I bought a big bottle of this for my wife. The purple bottle reminds me of grape soda but the scent does not at all. It's unique and loved by many.

I love the way this smells! my mom wears it and gave it to my gf, a mens fragrance that reminds me of alien would be v by valintino its got the jasmin floral note but not as heavy both are great scents!
