To watch videos on tv in The Sims 2 all u have is to copy a AU format video into the movie folder in The Sims 2 document data file and your Sims will be able to watch the same shows that you like.

MyDocuments/EaGames/TheSims2/M­usic/ (the TV sender you want). If you then turn on the TV

in the game you can watch it! The video must be .avi-clips and the clips shouldn't be

larger then 128x128 pixel also it shouldn't have more then 15 frames per second.

the diamond is the symbol that shows which sim you control at the time

The diamond shows you what Sim you are controlling at the time. When it's bright green, that Sim is extremely happy. When it's green, they're just happy. If it's red, they're upset/angry. When it's dark red, they're really upset/angry and could possibly die of hunger.
