I don't think she understands Orangutan temperament. They are extremely friendly, curious, intelligent, and calm. Fighting is extremely rare among Orangutans and occurs most frequently when an adult male comes across a baby. They don't attack people.
@justinemarietruant, yes, they have been known to attack people. They can do much damage when they do. I don't blame her for being a little scared, but staying calm is just the right thing to do.
That guy who was talking was pretty irritating, though.
