@teamfyre Ok i was just wondering, just because i have a aussie puppy i got three days ago and he play bites my kids, but it kinda hurts them sometimes. Im worried after seeing this that he might really bite one day. Thanks for telling me that this is just a one time thing though.
@LyeLye Welcome to the world of Aussies..they are awesome dogs!! I have 4 and they are all so friendly and wouldn't bite anyone. You just have to let them know their boundaries as they are very smart and will learn behavours very quickly. My recent puppies bites my arm when playing so I just transfer that to a toy.
@teamfyre Yeah we havent gotten chew toys yet so i let her have my sons old stuffed raccoon, she likes shewing on the tail of it. Shes gotten a little more affectionate during these past few days.
I don't blame the pup. Hell, when I'm in the best part of my sleep and someone just tip my head like that, I'm ready to battle, too. Ruff ruff growl growl. LOL.
I'm on my 3rd Aussie. They're busy, smart, gutsy dogs. They come with a healthy amount of, ummm... self-respect and self-confidence. Mine is completely indifferent to small dogs. Show him a full grown male mastiff, and he'll annoy it until he can make it look like a klutz trying to chase him. That's fun for him. Not at all surprised this little guy would stand up for himself, and totally believe he's friendly when not being irritated. The Aussie's motto: I've GOT this!
@Brianndlo4 We had guests come visit for the week. They brought their Great Pyrenees. Our Aussie pushed that Great Pyrenees around for two days, until finally she tried to take his food. He then just swallowed her head, spit it out, and that was that. Our Aussie then gave him space, and he just laid around and ignored her. But she was willing to give it a go at first !!! Size don't matter to an Aussie.
Poor little guy, today was the one day he didn't want to be fucked with. Funny thing is, humans are like that all time... were tired, exhausted, or sore from a work-out, and some asshole starts fucking with us, he may be kidding, but sfter is all said and done, they will never screw with us again.
haha, that's awesome! and that's the breed! when they get tired, they get bitchy! that pup probably had too much of a work-out and was getting mad at being picked on. He wanted to sleep, i say let em give him a bite. The other dog should know to leave him alone. My aussie's would do that while they were pups, after a long walk. They have since overgrown it, but it happens. You try going for a 3 mile walk, then i'll smack you after you fall asleep. :) It's the same thing.
My 5mo old mini aussie went off on a full-grown collie when he got off the owner's leash the other day. Good thing the collie wasn't in a fighting mood... ;-)
Are males aggressive more then females?
