What more can one say? Did anyone ever see the documentary on a woman who was totally obsessed with Jim Reeves? She married a bloke BECAUSE he looked like Jim Reeves! I'm not sure if that inspired the song or if the song was written before it.

@Reint25 I think I saw it in the late eighties and remember laughing with my mate about how it was just like the song. Maybe I was watching a repeat, or the story had been in the news before. Anyway, I do remember that there was indeed a woman who actually did love her man because he bore an uncanny resemblance to Jim Reeves. Good, eh?
