Transformers was animated by the animator gods them selves....the Japanese .

@YUCKSTERTHUNDER Actually, Transformers (the show) wasn't animated in Japan, but in America (with Korean assistance, of course). It's the toys that were spawned in Japan. Basically what happened was the show team would get a new toy in the mail and have to write it into the show somehow. The movie was animated mostly by the Japanese, but the success of the series is hardly based on the Movie (though it's obviously the best part).
